I'm sitting here at the pool of a boutique style hotel in my skimpy bikini that I work hard to be able to wear, and a group of women in the pool start whispering, making snide comments about how they would NEVER wear something like that out in public. As I start feeling uncomfortable, I remind myself that I am doing nothing wrong and in fact, there is a whole other "group" of people on this planet that embrace and appreciate letting go and being yourself! This is exactly why we decided to book TTR in October! Cheers to women supporting each other! See you in a few months, Temptations!
Welcome aboard! There is a modest sized group of us currently putting together a Theme Night plan for the time period you will be at the resort. You can find our thread here: Theme Night Planning - October 9 -24 We are working towards posting a 'rough draft' schedule in the coming week or so, but we are at the mercy of the resort nailing theirs down before we can finalize it. The real chatter probably won't be heating up for a few more weeks, but please drop in, say 'Hi' and introduce yourselves! Seems to be a pretty even mix of regulars and newbies at this time! A great group with quite a variety of fun loving people! Joe and Lucinda
Recently experienced much the same. My husband and I were in Vegas at a boutique hotel advertised as SEXY. After being at the pool for a short bit in one of my tiny bikinis, and hearing all of the women whispering it became apparent that this wasn't a sexy hotel at all but a place where women go to express there outrage at how dare another women wear THAT in public. Especially in front of there husbands who didn't mind a bit I might add! There is absolutely no other place anywhere close to the people, vibe and hospitality than TTR! IMHO
I absolutely agree with you guys I love my bikinis with rhinestones and as long as we are all comfortable within our bathing suits screw the other people it's about us feeling good and as long as we're not naked it's really none of their businessand for their husbands and looking all men and women look it's just part of life hopefully they have enough trust in their relationship but it sounds like maybe some of these women are insecure again this is why I say the best hotel overall is Temptations nobody judges nobody everybody whatever shape size you are you are accepted
The only resort Amanda has felt comfortable enough to wear them. Hell she was in a G String and topless 3 minutes after we got to the sexy pool for the first time. Too many judgy people when she's worn small cheeky bottoms at other places. She didnt' feel like dealing with the remarks and stares if one of the MS or WW's came out of the bag. Pathetic how prude some people are.
Welcome to the North American view of the human body We are hung up as a society on sh*t like this... Have to give it up to the Europeans and their views OMG it is just flesh...skin...women have boobs and men don't...both have nipples so who cares.
"women have boobs and men don't...both have nipples so who cares." 1.9 billion men (and a lot of bi women). Hahaha
It is sad that our view of nudity and near nudity is the way it is. Some people can't handle it though. On our first trip to TTR I got used to boobs everywhere pretty quick and it just became normal. I'm pretty sure my friend who arrived 2 days later sported a boner the entire time he was there. LOL
Some people just like to talk about others. I for one love going to TTR and Desire because "No one knows you, and no one gives a shit"....
