I stole this from RobnBecky on another thread. I think they are onto something!! "I read the themes like this: Heaven & Hell - Dress Code: Red or Black (including leather, latex, tape) lingerie. Bedtime Bash - Dress Code: lingerie Let it Glow - Dress Code: White & Neon lingerie with glow sticks TBT Temptation - Dress Codes: Retro Lingerie Imperial White Night - Dress Code: White Lingerie Lingerie Lounge - Dress Code: Sexy Lingerie MexFest - Dress Code: Green, White & Red Lingerie The smaller the outfits the easier they are to pack."
First off, we are a little disappointed in some of the theme nights presented by the resort. Not that they are not exciting enough, it’s just that how do you get excited for possibly 2 Angels and Devils Nights or 2 Pajama Nights in one trip? I, for one, am not interested in purchasing 2 pair of pajamas for each of us in order to accommodate a theme variation from one pajama night to the other. Hell, it’s more likely that I’ll find another opportunity to wear my fake leather Chinese shorts again in the future! That being said, we also don’t think it would be right to totally ditch the resort theme and have 20-something of us running around in completely unrelated attire. Keep in mind that we also do not know on what nights of the week these themes are going to occur. When will that be announced? No one knows. Is it possible that they will change again before mid October arrives? I would say ‘Likely’. Here’s some thoughts on how to deal with these changes. Please post your opinions and ideas: Heaven & Hell - At Temptation, everyone has the ultimate choice to make. Picture yourself standing before the pearly gates… Which will you choose? To enter the clouds of heaven or pass through the gates of hell? Your choice of dress will tell… Dress Code: Angels & Devils Angel, Devil, Preacher, Pope, Altar Boy, Bishop. Dress in Red, Black, White. Accessorize with Halos. horns, collars, pitch forks, tails, etc. Bedtime Bash - Did you know that pajamas tell a lot about the person who is wearing them? Tonight, you will be the judge of that! A night when getting shut eye is the last thing on your mind. Express the true you at Temptation’s adult Party in Pajamas… Dress Code: Fun Pajamas Sexy PJ’s - Super Hero, Cartoon character, sports team themes, etc. Options on Amazon for the ladies that are tanks and short shorts. Guys in novelty boxer briefs Let it Glow - Tonight, Temptation will let it all glow, under the neon lights. Feel the adrenaline rush as you get lost in the music and lights, as you dance all night. An evening where everyone and everything glows in the dark. Dress Code: White & Neon Colors We all know how to do this one! Neon/Glow/Rave Bright colors, neon, wigs, tu-tus, etc. I get the feeling that Bash will be outfitted with black lights!!! TBT Temptation - Because everyone loves a blast from the past, don’t miss #TBT at Temptation! Turn back the hands of time, and dance through the decades, as this evening promises to be “totally rad”. What decade will you be rocking? Dress Codes: Clothing from your Favorite Decade I can’t even think of more than 3 decades that have distinct or sexy clothing, The one decade that we thought stood out the most for fun and sexiness was the Roaring 20’s! Think Flappers, gangsters, thugs, rum runners…. An era of prohibition, art deco, and jazz. Outfits for the men might consist of shorts, suspenders, fedoras, hooligan caps, white tank t-shirts. Ladies wearing wearing sexy flapper-like lingerie with head bands adorned with feathers. I even found inflatable Tommy Guns online….even a costume violin case! Imperial White Night - White, the icon of elegance, is like a blank canvas open to the creation of anything the mind can conceive. Our Imperial White Night will submerge you in a dream world of elegance and seduction. Be prepared for an aural & visual feast of Caribbean glam by the sea… Dress Code: Trendy White White Night….. Don’t need to say much more than that. Always classy and sexy. Anything from elegant dresses to corsets. Perhaps we accent with glow stick jewelry and accessories. lingerie Lounge - Adding lingerie to any party can transform any good party, into an extraordinary party, one that will go down in the history books forever type of party. The perfect event to mix & mingle and meet new people. So, go ahead and give everyone something to talk about! Dress Code: Sexy, Classy Lingerie So glad they retained Lingerie Night! Come prepared with a few outfits. Maybe do one with a Mardi Gras twist complete with beads and feather masks. Purple, gold, and green. Or we can stick with straight up sexy teddies, corsets, and baby dolls! Naturally, guys will be expected to show up in novelty briefs. The classier guys might even wear cuffs and ties in order to give the ladies that Chippendale experience! MexFest - Mex Fest is an authentic journey across the different regions of Mexico. A signature evening at Temptation, known for its exuberant decoration, high-energy, lively and colorful “fiesta”, that perfectly represents our culturally rich country. Dress Code: Colors of the Mexican Flag (Green, White & Red) This one can be taken all over the map! Think Red, White, Green. Think MEXICO! Incorporate you favorite Mexican beer or Tequila t-shirts. Mini skirt and a bikini top all the way to cultural ethnic dresses! Go sexy and seductive…..Elegant and classy….. Ladies, your opportunity to wear that drop dead sexy dress…… Your call.
This is super helpful - thanks for posting! I like the suggestions and ideas for spicing up the themes a bit. I like the sports team and/or super hero option for PJ night...That could be fun. I don't have a preference on the lingerie night - it's going to be great no matter what!
For Bedtime Bash Night (aka PJ Night) a cute option could be your favorite sports team T-shirt or tank top along with panties/briefs. Cute/Simple/Sexy!
I like the idea of replacing the PJ night with some type of super hero or sports team night. TBT could also be replaced with TBT rock star or movies theme or something similar. We're aren't going until 10/14-10/21. When do we think we'll have a finalized theme night list for the CCC group? I'm ready to shop!! Shelly
The unique difficulty in planning this year is due to not knowing what day of the week each of the resorts' themes will fall on. We don't know when they will release that info either. What I'm thinking is that we plan themes for 2 distinct weeks. The first being Oct. 9-16 and the second being 17-24. Whatever theme we have planned (for example) on PJ night for week 1 gets pinned to that date once the resort releases that info. Confusing? I know! At this point in time I don't know how else to deal with the situation. As far as when to nail down a finalized list...... hmmmmmm Lucinda is chomping at the bit and bookmarking outfits all over the internet herself! This mid-October group is a lot of fun, but not so big on planning participation. THEY NEED TO GET MORE VOCAL! Let's see if we can nail this down by June first?! I think we can get the most critical decisions out of the way by that point. Joe
Makes perfect sense - PJ night week one will be X (super hero, for example) and PJ night week two will be X (sports team, for example) so we will know exactly which outfits to get based on the week we are coming regardless of which night of the week they do that theme on. Good plan. Lock down two lists - week 1 and week 2 - by June 1st(ish) . My vote is to do the sports idea you mentioned (sports team T shirt or tank top with panties/briefs) for week two when we will be there. -Jason
Superhero is definitely going to be a 'Week 1' Bedtime Bash theme! Whether you choose to wear a costume or superhero PJ's, it'll be a blast! I agree with 'LivinTheLife' that MexFest would be a great opportunity to flaunt your favorite sheer outfit. Back in June of 2015 we did an 'Angels and Devils Night' and I was floored by the people that decided to dress like Priests and even one popular guy that dressed as the Pope! He posed for pictures with more gorgeous, sexy women than anyone in history! With that being said..... I think a few gals clad as seductive Schoolgirls would blend right in! I spent 12 years in Catholic Schools and I think it would make for a great atmosphere! Joe
