On Wifi, from the faq's " Temptation Cancun Resort offers Free Wi-Fi (Limited Access) for all guests. Limited access meaning that video channels such as: YouTube, Netflix, live streaming, etc., are not accessible. If you find it necessary to utilize these video channels, we do offer an unlimited internet package for an additional service charge."
That's really great I can pay to be able to stream. I don't know what I would do at Temptation if I couldn't get to my Netflix.
You know everyone keeps asking about the upgrades to the resort and going after a different target group. I think a very important question that needs to be asked is will the porn channels upgrade with the resort, or will they disappear?
I 100% imagine they will stay. I mean people are probably going to be asking for them, and how hard is it to have two channels that, if you didn't know they were there, wouldn't even matter to you. However, I do not think they will be upgraded. But that's good enough for me, it's 75% cheesy...and that's the best part. I remember my first trip I immediately unplugged the T.V. to plug a speaker in. Thinking "what would I ever need a T.V. here of all places" oh how young and innocent I was.
I can't imagine them getting rid of them. It would take a special person to complain about 2 channels at a place like TTR. I agree, I hope they stay just as they were. That's funny that you did that. I don't think we turned on the TV until like Day 3 after we heard people talking about it. Couldn't believe it, but it just adds to the ambience haha.
They're definitely doing a damn good job of keeping the anticipation up. There doesn't seem to be a clear cut answer on anything. I think what we can assume to be truth is that: 1. There will be a pool 2. There will be alcohol 3. There will be topless women 4. You may be able to eat somewhere 5. The porn may still be there Other than that it's anyone's guess as to what's happening.
