We decided to try oasis sens this time, checking out other adults only resorts. Background: we own a large bar, can take trips when we feel like it, are tight asses with money. Thus the $240 for TTR is pricing us members will not happen. We paid $175 a night for two at sens this trip. We found the place to be fine, about a 3.5 Star facilities. We booked the basic package, room was large, balcony, mini fridge stocked daily. Saw very little benefit to the Siaan kaan package. Now when they finish the rooms on the ocean, ok those are bad ass. Drinks were easy to get, stoli, Smirnoff, and absolute was for everyone. (Only drink vodka so only reference) We were surprised because stoli is almost top shelf at our place. Dos on tap, very cold, obviously have a very good system. Food was ok overall. Breakfast was very good, lunch was only sit down places you had to wait a very long time for, dinner had one buffet and other places. Late night snacks were horrible!!!! Beach was amazing. Water crazy blue!!! beach bar was great, never waited for a drink. Easy to get a chair. Great system for towels. Pools were huge, never stayed much in the main one, too many people. We hung out a lot in the lagoon pool, which also had its own bar. Night life was better than expected. You learn real quick there is little down time there. Bands played every night at 8, then the nightclub starts at bout 930. We hated the bands, played 70's music, but a lot seemed to like it. Lobby bar also had some very chill music each night, and was always full. The club kinky was actually good. Better get there early to get a seat. The shows Tuesday to Friday were excellent. We stayed after and danced. They also have a bar there til 2. Couple things that seem to come up too often on here. Went topless everyday, sheer bottoms too! Wore very little at night. Never noticed cameras of others. We took pics of us. Was actually nice. Maybe no creepers wanted pics of us and want them of everyone else. Lots of singles, big groups of both female and males. Never had a problem, but they were loud. Was never approached about a sales pitch. Tips: if you have problems walking up and down stairs, u won't like it. Stairs are necessary if you want the views of the water, which are amazing. We went most days at lunch to the oasis grand which is a 5 min bus ride. Place is huge, multiple lunch buffets. They have no gym. We went to the oasis grand which has an excelllent gym. Very little security at the lagoon pool or anywhere else besides the main pool. We took some great pics lol! Gift shop is non existent. The smart car rental was easy, went to mall and other places downtown. Be wary, you will be pulled over and they will try to get money from you. We were, laughed and videod him, he immediately took off. Others told of us paying $200!!!! Crazy Room service is only a $10 delivery charge for burgers etc. we did not care for them, but we also hated the patyos burgers. Takeaway from sens: We will be back, was just about our level of party. you can kind of hide there and do just about anything you want. The place was full so they have no problem attracting people there.
Agree 100%. Nice to know about the sheer bottoms. Didn't try it in January but will most definitely do it in June.
Great trip report and many thanks for the pictures you took and posted of the construction progress at TTR. T
Great report. Thanks for sharing. We will be there next month, so it is always good to read a positive trip report.
Great report, going there June 8-12, first time, was kind of worried from reading all the reviews online....
Your trip report was very encouraging for our upcoming trip!!!! Makes the wait of 45 days seem even longer. So glad you guys had a great time. Thanks for sharing your experience with everyone.
Great report Tracy and I just returned 5/6,many of her sheer or open bottom g-strings would make veteran Ttrs blush, the workers by the ladies room may still be smiling, great price point and that's what leads to the large amount of singles. Security never gave us a second look and we did push things that at TTR would bring them running, only downside is the stairs and I've never seen so many selfie sticks I'm my life
It was nice to wear them, don't think many people even noticed. At TTR it's constant cat calls, whistles, hey baby etc, never heard a word entire trip.
