Demolition Progress And Renovation Progress. Reports, Pics And Videos

Just watched the live facebook video of the cruise today. Looks like a good amount of interior walls went up in both areas of the tower.

 

We just got back from a long weekend in NYC (where we saw some of our favorite TTR people!), and randomly learned that the Empire State Building was built in 14 months. Not a perfect comparison, obviously, but it can be done. I think they've got this.

Call me an optimist but I think this next month will show a big difference. Once the concrete work is done, there will be a ton of workers that come in and you'll see huge progress.

 

I think going to 7 stories from 10 certainly has helped the process.

 

I would imagine that over the next 6 weeks, we'll see the project move and a break neck pace. I was told that the block of rooms around the quite pool would be completely finished and ready for occupancy by the end of May!
They'll make there opening date, no doubt.

Keeping this on topic. They need to send that guy in the back right down to help with the renovation work to ensure it stays on scheduled. He seems to have a lot of energy and always has his fist in the air like he is a man of action. Put that guy on the construction crew and it will 100% be done August 15th ha
