We did the same thing, but in reverse: did DRM first then GP Desire RM is a wonderful, luscious resort with top-notch everything. The only "downside" is the beach is a little too seaweed-y; we spent most of our daytime by the pool. Golden Parnassus is gorgeous, but don't expect top-notch. I'd say if you keep your expectations low, you'll be OK. (We came to GP from DRM and it was a little disappointing at first. Once we were settled, we enjoyed the GP more) No free wifi at GP (for some folks, this is important) On a side note, we met a couple at GP who told us how much they loved GP. We tried to tell them we had just come from Desire, which they said they had never heard of. Tried explaining, gently, the clothing-optional feature and they both scowled.

That's great info - thanks. We're off to GP in May. Some of the nighttime activities look fun. How many people participate in things like lingerie night though? We wouldn't want to be the only ones!

Honestly, I didn't see anyone in lingerie. Hardly anyone in what I'd call "sexy" attire. Women were in nice, summery dresses or tops/shorts/skirts but nothing risqué or revealing.
