Hey Steve, a little off topic but wondering if u know if both pools will be heated? Just booked end of Nov beginning Dec and sure hope both pools are warm.

 

I think the resort will open in August as a soft opening like they've said from the beginning. What that means, only they know at this point. A lot of folks have booked for august, I just wonder how many will get bumped.

 

Steve I think your math is off. Looks like they have most of the superstructure done to the 4th floor. The scaffolding/shoring for the floor above will have to stay in place at least 28 days until the concrete comes up to 80% strength.
As well you will notice they have not started any of the exterior/interior wall framing or any interior roughins.

The "superstructure" of a building goes up the fastest. As well the lower floors also go faster than the upper floors.
If they are done both portions (right and left side) the same I would consider them to be about 20% complete on the building.

I think they had better get in into gear.

 

Where is the center portion of the building? According to the drawings both wings are joined with a center section.

 

The center section is done. There are a couple of flyover videos that show it. There is also a separate section in the front separate from the main towers. Looks to be the elevated second floor entrance. We were down just a couple of weeks ago and none of the windows had been removed from the 3000 block. So it appears they're finished with the deconstruction and reconstruct of the quite pool side and are finally starting the 3000 block.

 

I'm with you Steve, I truly believe they'll have it finished enough to party in and have a blast getting the TTR broke in! I don't believe they'll have ALL of the tower rooms done but I'm not booked in one of them so it doesn't mean that much to me.

 

I'm guessing all the people who got super cheap rates from 3rd party vendors!
