Our close friends, who became premier members at the last Halloween at Temptation, were told they had to wait to August to use their benefits to get rooms for Halloween but now its all sold out. I'm so upset for them. 8000 dollars they spent to be members of this club. We enjoyed the last Halloween together there and now they can't go. They say when they call they get excuses. This has been an ongoing thing since January. I wish I could help them. What is this premier problem? They are ready to write off 8000 as a bad investment. Last time we went together, our room was cheaper than theirs even though they're members and now they can't even go this year. Is Premier a scam? We never joined because Lo is a flight attendant and we know how to book things. We get good rates and airline benefits. We never give in to the pressure to join. I feel bad for my friends. Did they get the shaft? Is their anything they can do? If membership numbers are needed or whatever I will get them to supply whatever is needed. Any input from anyone is appreciated. All I can think is there is a secret they don't know or this whole premiere thing is a rip off scam. Somebody enlighten me please.
Holloween is always a bust time of year with the resort being close to maximum capacity. This year is worse than most with the resort being shut down. The resort is scheduled for a soft opening in august which is only two short months from holloween. A lot of people are waiting for holloween and this year there is a large group that normally goes in may that will be attending holloween. We just had some friends go through this and they were able to find someone who had booked a referral but backed out. They just took the dates and it worked out for them.
I think lots of people will find out that timeshares are a bad investment, which this one isnt even a timeshare in the truest sense. Most timeshares are legal scams. You pay upfront (or finance), then pay again when you stay. Ok....gotcha. WTF? To each their own though.
