OK. So it's an 18 and up club, sort of? Is that what you're saying? Huh. I'm down with meeting at 5:00 as we arrive on the flight at a few minutes after 3:00 p.m., so that'd work. I like the play it by ear plan, myself.

 

I hit submit too early, my bad. I just looked at the link to get to the Winnie's, that seems like a cool spot. They even have an "Event Coordinator" though I do't know as 7 or 8 of us would actually need that, eh?

 

Someone may want to post Thursday ideas on the FB event too! More activity, more people...not everyone is checking CCC regularly.

How do I get tickets for Sat night?

 

Stacia and John please for your Thursday night check out a place called les enfant terrible. Amazing view, you can go for dinner and drinks. I 100 % guarantee you will be happy. After that go West on st Catherine to a street called crescent. A bar called Thursdays is a great starting point.

Do you like pubs or clubs?

 

Ah... the famous Crescent Street. Been doing some reading about that area, seems like there is a lot of interesting stuff there. Is that right?

Stacia & I are usually Pub people, until/unless we're with a good group and then we can still do the nightclub thing. But, hard to meet and talk to people in a nightclub, though... cough-cough the dancing is usually not so good in a pub, Stacia opines.

Egad! I just checked the weather forecast for next weekend! Ack! a High of 36F... WTF! Low of 11F on Sunday morning at 5:00 a.m.! Holy.... We will Certainly need a seat at the back of the party bus, under/on top of the heater if there is to be any possibility of us thin-blooded Texans getting out of our Klondike Gear during the party bus tour. Average temp of 26F... Ooooffff! Hopefully, that ends up being wrong.

Oh, here's a question. When do we get our bus party "tickets" and our club passes? That may have been answered elsewhere and I've just missed it. Anyone know without our having to bother Deb? She's been holding up a heavy burden to get this thing setup for everyone.

The passes for the club/shuttle/bus should be given to you when you check in at the hotel.

John, for pubs cresent area is perfect for you.

Hurleys is just below st Catherine's on cresent and mcgibbins is just one street West of crescent above st Catherine.

Don't taxi it to downtown Thursday. It will be a pain in the ass at that hour. You are only a 10 minute walk to the subway which will drop you off in the middle of downtown in 10 mins. Cab it home.
