Demolition Progress And Renovation Progress. Reports, Pics And Videos

So they are doing about a floor per month, and that is just columns and scaffolding? At this rate they will just have a rough skeleton of a building in June. This does not look good.

 

I don't think i would be worried about the new tower. With the tower crane im sure it will go a lot faster. I'm more surprised to not see any progress on the old building by the pool. It doesn't look like it has been touched.

 

That tower crane looks like it's smack dab in the middle outer edge of the new Bash area. I am not sure what date this picture was taken but as of today there is 5 months to go for the soft opening they have a lot remaining to do, Time will tell.

We'll wait until after the first TR's in August to book our flights for Halloween.

 

Anyone that goes back and reads my posts will see that I'm the most optimistic person. I don't have a pessimistic bone in my body.
But with that being said, we just got back from Playa and there is absolutely no way that they will be open for a soft opening in August.
We're booked but not buying our flights till the end of July!
There just isn't enough progress being made on the other structures to be able to pull off opening by August and I'm starting to wonder if they'll be open by October for Halloween.
Crossing my fingers that I'm wrong and giving them all my well wishes but working on a backup plan!

 

TNA, (kinda cute eh, Tyler and Angie) I think that you are spot on. I wish they would just come out with a new anticipated opening date.

 

They will be open on August 15 unless a major hurricane or other bad weather delays the progress, they have too much to loose at this point not to open on time, remember open doesn't mean completed and finished. Question is August 15 what year??

There's so much to be done that it's very difficult to look at these photos and make a solid guess. IMO......August is out.........November is likely out. I am talking COMPLETION..........not simply opening the old......newly rennovated rooms. Lots of positive wishes, but it cold be quite a while!

 

As with most anything, it's the people that make the difference no matter what stage it's in. Everybody will be in the same boat and it sounds like we have some awesome folks on deck and ready to go!
