We are planning the group outing in Cozumel and not planning anything in Progreso. We figure that day we may wing it hopefully meet some cool people and do something but not really the excursions . As far as drinks we are reluctantly getting the drink package. It is $$ but I only drink tequila and 8 bucks a pop I will have that $65 worth drank by noon. lol Rich may take till 2.
So you're aware, generally on a cruise ship every drink you get with alcohol in it is at a nightclub's price range, so it takes no time at all to bust through $70 bucks in a day if you're a guy. I've not cruised on Celebrity, but online they are compared favorably with Princess and Royal Caribbean (Stacia & I've been on RC on their ship, Navigator of the Seas twice, once in the Western Med, the other time in the Western Caribbean) and I would have blown past $70 by 6:00 p.m. each night, just drinking such as Strongbow and light beer during the day, and Guinness/Newcastle and/or a Blanton's or some other such small batch bourbon at night. Stacia, being small, would have maybe 2 drinks during the day, and 1, maybe 2 more at night, so she opted out. She did consider a wine package though, but I don't know if Celebrity has one of those. Anyone know?

Anyone know?[/QUOTE] They offer several different plans from even a cheaper $45 plan for liquor if you dont mind drinking well drinks. after looking at the prices for the plans we decided to try the tequila on their middle grade plan to see if it was worth paying the extra $120 for 2 to upgrade to the highend liquor plan. It ended up that I liked it as much as any of the other tequilas so we are going to save that money lol. I am a wine drinker at diner and it is included by the glass in the liquor plans but they also offered just wine and beer plans for those who want that and they are less $$. I think it is hard for all of us that are used to an all inclusive resort to wrap our heads around having to pay separate for the liquor. I just have to keep doing the math in my head that the 45-65 a day is not that bad.

My wife an I on our first cruise and it was only a 3 day cruise on a Carnival ship and our bar tab was over 700 for just the two of us. We whis they had that option when we went.
We are a couple of June Junkies booked for the March cruise as well. Hope to see many shining TTR faces on board. Been on several cruises but never sans clothing; hoping for a TTR-esque sexy party atmosphere, but excited to see what’s in store regardless. Looking forward! Marty and Lisa
