We have done a number of Groupon trips and for those who are skeptical, they are legit. Read the fine print and I always call the resort before buying to be sure there are open rooms before buying. Thats a terrible price. We just booked 7 days. $1027 pp CAD Thats about $780USD Thats 7 days with transportation to and from hotel. I have never seen a good groupon deal. And anyone near a Canadian border should fly out of Canada and save 20+%

If you book the Sens with a Groupon, you will receive their worst rooms and lowest level of service. Many of the complaints about the Sens are from people who booked with Groupon.
We had a nice ocean view balcony with our last Groupon and were treated really well. We're going back wed on another Groupon and we'll see how it works out this time. We don't really care about the room though, we only did two things in there, sleep and....

As far as groupon, they let you cancel the trip up to a few days before you're supposed to go. I can say our second groupon to sens was a success. Quick check in and no real issues. Got a room overlooking the back pool and actually liked it. We did upgrade to vip bands and were treated like we paid full price for a kian saan room. I highly suggest doing that. Between top shelf liquor/champagne, beach beds, because and a private concierge to book everything for you it is more than worth the $24/day per person. In fact, we just booked our third groupon to go back next month. Between the great price and easy flight/cheap flight from houston we have no excuse to not go.
