Figured I would throw this out there in case anyone wants to split a van to/from the resort. The wife and I are going down on Friday (27th) and returning on Tues (31st). I already booked transportation through Dominican Plus but if anyone is going to the resort, or another in the Uvero Alto area, and wants to split a van, let me know! Our experience at breathless in the Dominican was disappointing for a place that claims to be a party resort. Our group from TTR where the only ones topless (and people where taking pictures and not courteous enough to even introduce themselves). No real party music till 3 at the pools and most bars shut down at 6pm. Most of group got somewhat sick from the food (my gf and I got violently I'll on separate occasions). It is a nice resort and very clean. Management service is very poor and drinks are horrible, but the staff is very nice and attentive. We made the most of it and had fun but we can't wait for TTR to read open! Sorry for the negative review. I posted a review on tripadvisor and it was flagged for removal twice by the resort. I have learned that trip advisor is a bunch of bs and doesn't allow true reviews throughout this process.
Thats pretty much our review as well, except for the violently ill part. Food was sub par, drinks never tasted the same way twice, bar service was slow and they kicked us out of the pool at 7 every night. Nightly party was pretty tame and not well attended. Most of the people we talked to had the same things to say. But the resort is very nice and everyone we met were very nice. The place is so big and spread out that seeing people you met in the pool is hard.
