Where would be the best and wildest place for us to at night to party in Cancun in mid April when we will be there? Will be staying at Breathless.
Coco Bongo is always crazy! Each night there are 1 or 2 spots that are more happening than others. Ask your entertainment staff and I am sure they can point you in the right direction. Have fun!!
I would have said Coco Bongo years ago, but the last time we went they packed us in on stairs and we could not move the whole show. I want somewhere that I can watch my wife dance, not stand around!
Coco Bongo isn't our scene, neither are any of the other warehouse-size nightclubs. For us, we like the smaller size/style bars, like the traditional Senor Frogs (never had any problems there getting a crazy party going) or Carlos & Charlie's, bodyshots on the bar a regular sight. There's tons of places to go and party, the easiest way to make sure you have a good party time is to bring your party with you, meaning, invite the right people. And make a rule that there's no panties worn.
Probably about a $20 or so cab ride to Cancun, wouldn't you think? Probably ~$30 to get to Playa del Carmen? That's a guess, but it's an educated one. Playa is a fun time, walking up and down 5th St. The Tequila Barrel is a fun place to get your drink on, but that's all you can do there, but you CAN tie it on in there. Playa doesn't get as crazy as Cancun, but the Senor Frog's there is a pretty fun place, too, like in Cancun, just a bit smaller and with a correspondingly fewer number of people.
It will be more than that I would think. It's about $25 to the airport from TTR and Puerto Morelos is as far again on the other side. More like $50/$60 to Cancun, and similar to Playa I would guess.
