Very excited for our trip but wildly disappointed we won't be at TTR for our normal Pre-holiday adult trip. Already looking forward to next year and checking out the changes. Any others going to be there that week.

We tried it several years ago and were not impressed; but, we were in a different place in our journey then. We are considering going back March 6th ish for a week (haven't booked yet, we always travel last second). I hear they have done a complete upgrade on the property so kinda excited to check it out. If any other TTR folks are going to be there about the same time, let us know.

We went last year. It was fun, much crazier than Temptation but not in a good way. The people, dancing, service and food is even better at Temptation. It starts off with a very long, and slow bus ride, and the process is all very chaotic. The beach isn't much better than Temptation either. The only real difference is being naked and of course the public sex. We prefer spending time with great people, dancing silly and relaxing during the day.

My wife and I are TTR people who went to Hedo for the 1st time in November. It really is what you make of it there. We loved it as much as TTR, just in a different way.
Here's what we posted on here when we got back:

Welp, my wife and I just returned from our first trip to Hedo after 3 trips to TTR (2 in Cancun and 1 in Los Cabos)
Here are a few things we noticed:
    1) There were quite a few TTR Refugees there last week that just couldn't do GP or GOS.
    2) The vast majority of above noted refugees preferred the nightlife at TTR - especially Paty O's. The shows were quite good at Hedo (Winston and his crew are incredible) the piano bar was entertaining the nights it was open, but there is no one party place like Paty O's. Every refugee told every Hedo vet that.
    3) The food is pretty comparable. Top shelf liquor available to all.
    4) Going nude isn't all that difficult after all.
    5) It's great to have an all night bar and hot tub you can go to whenever the mood strikes.
    6) It's great to have day beds scattered around the resort for whenever the mood strikes.
    7) It's great not to have the threat of eviction come up from security whenever the mood strikes.
    8) Hopefully they put a playroom in the new improved TTR. You know, for when the mood strikes.
    9) NOTHING compares to the Cancuncare Boobs Cruise and crew. Every refugee advertised that as well.
    10) There are certainly things you can do at Hedo that you can't do at TTR. But that's OK. It doesn't make it better or worse.
    11) You are just as likely to get accosted by some wild sex crazed swinger at TTR as you are at Hedo. Which is to say you won't. Everyone is very respectful.
    12) You do have to make your way through the crowd at the swim up bar a little more carefully when there is no fabric between you from the waist down.
    13) We love BOTH places and will be back to both in the future.
    14) The wife and I won't have to be nearly as drunk before we start to enjoy our next Boobs Cruise. Or get naked on our next Boobs Cruise.
    15) They have an erotic couples massage at TTR and not at Hedo. Go figure..

I went to Hedo this past Christmas (solo). I was one time to TTR before that.
I would say with Hedo you have to carefully select the timing when you go. During Christmas it was empty, but I was told it was packed for New Years. I was lucky to meet a group of fun people there who made my stay, but otherwise - it could have been really boring. There was no party at all at night. Few people where hanging out in the piano bar in the evening, where the karaoke was taking place. Also one night during my stay they set up for disco outside, but ...No one! Not a single person! was dancing...
Pros/Cons...depending on how you view it..

    1. Nakedness - it is divided into 2 parts - naked optional (no one is there), and naked mandatory - thats where all the party is going. Wasn't really hard to get naked when it is mandatory and everyone around is naked! And yay - no tan lines!

    2. Hot tub - it is really nice to go there, especially at night

    3. Public sex everywhere - turned out that it is so easy to ignore (I was wondering why there was no party at night, where were all the people - perhaps busy having sex...who wants to dance, when there are orgies everywhere ))).

    4. Play room - goes without saying..

    5. Rooms - really old, but no one seemed to care.

    6. Food - was okay, Temptation was probably better. We bought amazing lobsters from sailers on the beach (they grilled it for us)- never tried anything more delicious.

    7. Beach - better than in Temptation. And you can walk along the shore, and maybe after 30 minutes of walking - you get to amazing wild beach, awesome views and clear water. So every day we were taking a walk - it was a nice morning exercise.
Also snorkeling was included for free, each day there was a boat that could take you snorkeling.

    8. Drugs - you can easily get them from basically anyone (they are selling them on the beach).

    9. There was a ping pong table and a huge chess board (I like both, so kept me somewhat entertained at night - I know ..I know...that's not why people are going to Hedo))).

    10. The property is very spread out, so for the night entertainment you have to search where you can get yourself into trouble.

All in all there were much more people in the lifestyle. Some of them told me that Temptation is a kindergarten and they would never go there (they actually never did, lol).

I would say Temptation would compare to a night club, while Hedo - more like a bar/lounge - depends who you go with and when (if I can make that comparison).

In Temptation you are guaranteed to party, but no guarantees for sex adventures, while in Hedo chances are the opposite .

Hedo is definitely a place to check out, especially if you are in the lifestyle and interested in some adult fun. But to make sure your stay goes well - bring the party with you!

We went to Hedo last March and it wasn't our 'cup of tea'. We are very well traveled and expect top service, food and rooms for the price but you won't find it at Hedo. If you don't care where you sleep, the quality of food and no service then this is the place for you. We do care about all of that so we will never go back. We were only two days in and couldn't wait for the week to end it was so bad. Just what we experienced while there.

We went a few years back before the new owners took over and the new upgrades or refurbishments took place. At the time the place was starting to look a little dated and tired. The staff we interacted with were all super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Some were what I felt a little off but that might have been the timing, new owners will I still have a job next week kinda thing. Not gonna lie there were people having sex pretty much everywhere and yeah you get used to it you put your blinders on ( sunglasses ) and go for a drink at the bar. It was kinda nice being naked and tanning and if the mood struck not having to ask someone to watch your chair so you could go back to the room for a little play time. The food was ok at the restaurants I don't think we had a bad meal at the resort the drinks were good the jerk chicken from the beach grill was good even better when you asked for some jerk chicken that the locals eat ( yes there really is a difference Virginia ). We had a good time while there the night life was all right nothing special we partook in a few things. We're both early risers so we missed a few nights. That's what happens when you get the early flight so you're on the resort by noon which after that long trip from the airport felt like we were on the SS Minow felt like a 3 hour tour. So by the time we got into our room having had breakfast at like 6 that morning we were a tad hungry. Ate at the nude side grill grabbed a few drinks and started our party. Went back to the room changed for dinner went to the piano bar for awhile and probably called it a night by 11. Which started us on the cycle of up at 7 and bed by 11 our entire trip. Still had a great time. Found it totally different from TTR really all in all you can't compare the two they're two separate vacations. Best bet is to go with an open mind and enjoy yourself

Hmmm - I'm looking for a little early spring break with some flexibility on dates. I have only gone to TTR solo - and had fantastic times every time. How is this place for a solo traveler?? I don't go with an agenda - more so I'm concerned that it would be difficult to find people to hang with. At TTR it is absolutely easy to find people to relax and have a fun evening with. I'm less concerned about falling into bed than I am being bored because everyone has paired off by 7:00 and is gone.

    thoughts??
