You'll have a great time. I do have one question... where did you get the impression that TTR was all those things you thought it was and you didn't want to get involved with? I've never read that flyer, myself.
Sorry, I did not intend to offend anyone who Goes there. Guess I just draw some of these things up in my head. We have decided to give it a try the second week of October. Thank you all for the replies. I will have more questions coming
You will have a great time. For booking check many of the main search engines, such as expedia. If you use Alpha Rooms, link through this web site.
Just book it for a week at least one time. If it's not your thing it will only be a very short period of your life. If you don't try it at least once you may be missing out on something very special with the type of people that go to this resort. T
Change of Plans: Tuesday it is ! Just changed our plans, arriving on Tuesday leaving the following Wednesday. That way we get in 2 Orgies on 1 trip !!!
Offend? Nah.... Shoot, I've been stuck in a small space with Chinos before. I don't think I'll ever be offended again. Wait, you don't know who Chinos is... yet.... The sentiments stated by the others above should tell you what you need to know about visiting Temptation. Book it for a week, I promise you that, if you are a fun-loving soul, it'll be the time of your life! And without anything you don't want to do. I really was serious about asking where you got that impression: "Just not sure if we would fit into a nightly orgy type atmosphere. We both have decided we want to go somewhere fun and sexy where we can drink dance and let loose with others. It's hard to imagine what it will be like here. We want to fit in and have fun, but not feel like we don't fit in if we aren't swapping or having sex in front of others?" That doesn't sound like Temptation at all, in the way it's described. Sure, some people have stories they can tell after a hard day & night's partying, but nobody forces anything on anyone, nor will you even see such things, unless apparently you end up in ScubaSteve's room. Uncovered boobs all over the place, certainly. Round female butts wearing floss-only, absolutely. The occasional totally naked person, very high probability (The chance that it is me, marginal. The chance that it is Stacia, quite high). Drunken tomfoolery and the heartfelt playing of grab-ass -- like death and taxes. But... a negative experience? Haven't known one in 17 trips.
Check HOTELSCOMBINED for rates as well. We've had good luck booking through them. Before booking through any third site, ALWAYS read reviews if you've never heard of them. A lot of them take your money but don't actually book your room with the resort till about thirty days a head and this can cause issues with availability.
I booked October 9-14 through Orbitz. Hopefully we won't have any issues with room availability? Anyone here used Orbitz?
Orbitz is one of the largest travel 3rd parties. You won't have ANY issues. You'll have a Great time! We miss you by a few weeks seeing that we're going down for Halloween week. Good luck and don't be afraid to speak to people. We've discovered that on just about every trip we've taken somewhere that people don't speak to each other. At TTR, everyone is So friendly and willing to welcome and accept new people. The best Advice I can give you is don't fall pray to the dreaded first night bash! A lot of newbies will get ripped the first day, it's easy to do when the drinks are a little weak and you catch yourself ordering drink after drink and find yourself either too toasted to go to Patyo's, whoops, BASH, or you can't function the next day! Moderate your alcohol /water intake.
I'd slightly modify the above just a bit... The proper word about water intake would actually be "enforce." You should Enforce your water intake. Very important, especially on Day One until you get your sea legs. It's not just a newbie thing, either. Last trip, the #17 I mentioned, it jumped up and bit both Stacia & I as we had so many cool friends we wanted to hang out with all day long we'd missed for about a year-ish.
