We just got back and couldn't have a more opposite opinion. This place is NOT worth the money and we wouldn't go back if it was 1/2 the price. If you haven't booked yet look elsewhere, this place shouldn't be an option.

I'm sooooooo Glad that you agreed with me on the Schillabar. The food and service was terrific. The Box was very good as well. Should have tried it if you didn't.

We most humbly await the real Temptation re-opening, after any soft opening and work out the kinks period.

That being said, after going an average of three times a year (not exaggerating in the slightest) since 2009.... I'm getting a bit... twitchy!

Twitchy isn't the word for it!!!
I've caught my self sitting around the house swilling water downed tasty beverages out of a bubba mug, spaying AWIC on myself and sitting in my boat waiting for Chino's to yell FUCK YOU! August can't get here quick enough!!!

Thanks for the great post & detailed report.
We've had a blast last 3 trips to TTR, & looking forward to this Sens resort for Valentine's wk next wk.
    A few quick questions:
How cool/cold is the pool water in Jan/Feb?
Can we still stay in the topless pool all day?
Is the hot tub in the topless pool heated?
Does all the rooms, both lagoon & ocean sides, have balconies?
What/which non-motorized sports equipment do they have at the beach? (ie: We love/use all the equip at TTR: Stand-Up Paddleboards, kayaks, catamarans, etc...)

    Thanks,

I'm not sure why people think only one pool is topless at the Sens. ALL of the pools are topless at the Sens. They are open all day. We've been in February before, and the pools are chilly, but tolerable, depending on how warm it is during the day and night. The hot tubs (there are multiple; there is a whole area of several different hot tubs behind the Shillabar restaurant) are heated. Not all of the rooms have balconies.

I don't think that non-motorized water activities will be available seeing that the Sea Water is VERY rough! High Waves would prevent you from enjoying the water. It was red flag everyday we were there and only one of those days was it really calm enough to wade out to your waste without the life guards blowing there whistles.
Not all rooms have balconies, would recommend asking for a balcony upon check in. Try to get Alejondro when your checking in. He's great, and will try to accommodate.
All pools are Topless! The pool next to the Shillabar, which is on the West side of the resort has the Jacuzzi area. The Jacuzzis aren't in the pool like TTR. It is an actual secluded area that allows for some fun and risqué action if that's your thing.
You can stay in the pools as long as you want. We were never told to get out of the pools but due to the water temperature we didn't stay in after dark.
Pool Temp is COLD during our January Trip. They don't have a heated pool. That was one downside. If they heated the foam party pool, it would be a big plus.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the review. We are going in May sometime. Its always good to hear a real review, We don't trust the travel sites too much.
I hope there are some TTR family members there when we go.
