Hello all. We are thinking of going to Temptation now that it reopens in August. We were looking at dates at the end of August which is a week after it opens. I am seeing a lot of people are booking in September and November. Is anybody planning to go in August? Is the end of August a good time to go?
Yes, normally end of August over Labour Day is an awesome go...next to May of course (our primary time). November is also good...so is April...Hell any month is good Seriously though, based on the times we have gone Late April, May, Labour Day and November are great...many people also do October (halloweenish), late January and early February as well. IMHO of course.
We went last year for the first time and it was awesome.now we are booked for August 19th-25th.can't wait to see the new design in person
Thanks. We were initially thinking those same dates. Now, due to various reasons, we're thinking of arriving the August 21st or the 23rd. Who knows, we may go back to our original dates. We'll be there Aig 23-28th. 4th trip. Our 1st time we were wary and shy. Everyone is super nice, and there's no pressure to do anything, go topless, nothing. Just be yourself and relax. Now we're super comfortable and we've had so much fun just meeting people and laughing.
Nobody really knows yet. Before in August, it was "usually" a good time to go, as it was hot as blazes all day, which led to drunken mostly naked good times at the pool or down at the beach, and didn't cool off much at night which led to more of the same. But the New TTR is unknown territory. We're coming down for virgin trip 2.0 in late October, over Halloween.
Flip a coin. Anytime is a good time really, maybe other than Dec-Feb w. We've never been those months but have heard it can get a little too cool. July and August are hot as hell, but some people like that. Going during Halloween this year. First time in 7 trips to go in late October.
We booked the end of Aug and are thinking about adding an extra day. We were at TTR about the same time last year and haven't stopped talking about the great time we had. We travel a lot and this place tops our list and exceeded our expectations. It come down the the people we got to know and the people who work at the resort. I don't think there is a bad time to go. We hope to see you around.
