We are doing a family trip to the Riu Naiboa Punta Cana on Feb 6, with the kids. Quite the difference from temptations lol Anyone ever been or have any feedback?
Punta Cana has awesome beaches and weather , We have been to Riu in DR ,, they are very nice . For a family trip is is a good choice . Good for free for all
We haven't taken the kids yet but heard the Rui resorts are great for families. Have fun! We leave for Cancun On Saturday and are staying at the Grand Krystal. It's a family resort. Hopefully it's still fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Never been there but it's great to get away with the kids and going some place like that will be remembered in there mind's for years to come. Miss you guys can't wait to meet up at TTR some time down the road after the reopening. Happy New Year. T Sent Using Tapatalk
Thanks guys. They are old enough that at the very least we can hopefully sneak away for the odd evening and have some drinks and fun on the resort....it won't be temptations but we will have a blast.

We will haha we just got back from Disney with them....also not like temptations. Tinkerbell was very easily offended

We went to Punta Cana for two weeks before had kids and loved it - it was pre-TTR days, we didn't know it existed yet. The weather is seriously amazing, the people are great, the sand is like pancake flour and generally the resorts are nice. As a side note, we did struggle with the food and mostly ate eggs and pasta. Although it was 10 years ago and things could have changed since then with respects to the food. We took the kids to Cuba a few years back and had a great time too. It was our first trip away from TTR in almost 6 years and with kids! It was - interesting. lol Once we got past the mental block that it was a totally different vacation (only took a day), we had a great time with the kids. But to be honest, can't wait to get our asses back to TTR!!!!
