It looks like there are several events and themes, is there a way to find out ahead of time to pack a fun wardrobe? Are there certain things that you should always expect to bring?
You joined the forum after the hotel closed for renovations so as such there isn't a great deal of chat at the moment about upcoming theme nights and events, since no one has a trip planned until at least August. Usually we have various groups for each month and there are discussions and agreements about cancuncare thems for certain dates. Also the hotel runs theme nights too, the details of which are a little unknown at the moment due to obvious reasons. Once we get closer to the hotel reopening you'll find lots of activity and discussion here among the different groups.
Check back here when you have dates picked out. Try to see what other groups if any are going in your time frame check out those threads. Some groups do there own theme days/nights. Also the Temptations website does post themes that the resort has put on. Not sure if the website is still up to date as they are closed for renovations until August 2017. Hope this helps.
