We've been there twice, but probably not in the past 5 years. It's very nice and very low key. The music played at the pools during the day is some barely audible, kind of techno, stuff. Beach is "ok". Drinks are top shelf and Budweiser and Bud Light cans are available. Multiple infinity pools that are very nice. It's gotten quite pricey. People pretty much keep to themselves. Quiet place. Best part of it may be that a 20 minute walk down the beach gets you to Desires!
We have been to that Secrets twice. Both times were during Xmas week. Of the 3 Secrets RM properties, it is my fav. Drinks and Food are great and we found both times, that activities are well done. There was a fun party vibe,. Both stays had a few wedding partys, so their were lots of people looking to socialize and get involved. We would go back again at the right price.
