All in all not so much bad news glad things went well. I guess you can't hate them about the photos thing but hope a few will get through.

Thanks for the info Steve. Kind of figured it was a bit to early to predict a delay at this point. Keeping progress pictures to a minimum is a bummer in the meantime...one less thing to do on the forum. Guess I really am going to start making them little ships in a bottle to kill time at work.

Thank you for the update Steve! Glad to hear everything is still a go. We are staying at Desire RM in April and will taxi it over and see the construction progress for ourselves and see if we can sneak in to look for leftover apples..

 

Sometimes I question their marketing savvy. Here they have tens of thousands of people who want to engage with them daily on a social media platform that is populated with their most loyal customers and they would rather be silent for 9 months than to stay engaged and help build the excitement? Do they realize how many of their competitors would kill to have that?

Seriously, it's just been two months since we were last there and without the excitement of reading about what's going on at TTR on this forum and counting the final 60 days down to out next trip, we are beginning to lose interest and are looking elsewhere. Shutting the place down for 9 months was a big gamble. Going quiet with their best customers during that down time is almost an invitation for them to move on. Christmas morning is not much fun if the kids don't come back home to open the presents!

The hedonism 2 page on Facebook is hopping. We are heading there in 2017. We wanted to go back to temptations but they won't be open. Hedo seems to have the same kind of community / following.

Am I remembering things wrong, or didn't the management state they thought prices post-reno were supposed to be at 15% of where they were pre-reno? And now this is they are saying 50% up?

Of course, witht he same way that fifteen and fifty sound, I might have just assumed, with my wishfully-thinking minds'eye....
