I think you're right though Steve with the hotel closing down it may get a life little quiet. I'll be honest I post more before a trip as I'm getting excited about being there and tend to tail off afterwards. There are others that post everyday which is great and sometimes I'll log in just to see what's happening and don't leave a post to say I was there. As far as FB is concerned got rid of that awhile ago, I do miss some of the things on it like being able to stay in contact with people in other parts of the country, but there were instances where I'd get friendship requests from people and I hadn't seen them since I was in grade 3. Or people from high school that were in a history class in grade 9 and nothing from then until graduation and it's almost 30 years on and they're hey remember me and you go no not really. Then think hey I didn't talk to you then why would they want to now. You know sounds harsh but it's the truth. So after a shit ton of those I get to the business of getting rid of it. I was on it less and less anyway. That's why I love this forum it's not like FB where you need to acquire a big long list of friends. You can come on speak your piece and people will agree with you or lambast you either way it's an open forum. Love it or leave it it'll be here. With new newbies asking the same questions, references to the running buffet, planning theme nights and people talking about the great F&@$ing time they had at TTR
Should? Yes. Been to Mexico three times already this year and a fourth planned for October so really can't. But clearly my priorities were all messed up. Those other trips over this one and kids sports over TTR closure. There will always be kids sports. Ha
Came here to say that. Bacon is not bacon at TTR! It tastes like it's been deep fried, there's too much fat and it's tiny and way too crispy. I'm guessing it's the same in the US and Canada.
Just had to comment on this thread related to how quiet the forum is! I went away for about 4 hours today and came back and there was only 1 topic with a new reply...used to be when I did that there would be at least 5-10 (if not more!). Kind of eerie/depressing how quiet it is...
Yes, it is eerily quiet. Everyone who is there for the last week is at the hotel currently and those that aren't there wont be going again for at least 10 months. We have a barren few months ahead.
