There'should no doubt that there is going to be a very significant slow down in the next couple months. I believe a great way to keep it "active" would be to position 3-4 "live" Web cams around the resort as renovations get fully underway With that many of us will stay involved. Without that there will be 50-75 of us that will post through it all I am sure Steve has a management plan that will keeps his investments alive. He's a savy business man. I believe TTR "owes " Steve for promoting TTR so vigorously.........allowing him to position a few Web camera around the property would benefit all of us......the resort and Steve........ Like everything I say......or spew.....lol...it's only our opinion. I hope many of us will stay involved. Peace!
I think I've got a decent hypothesis on the bacon question. Generally speaking, at home, bacon is sort of expensive. My buddy the dude-side of Midwestern on here, Kevin, and I were discussing it. Seriously, we were discussing the bacon thing in the Sexy Pool. No, the girls were not there and we were hungry, yes. At home bacon costs quite a bit to get, when you're done cooking it up, not all that much meat, actually. Of course, it tastes glorious and awesome, but it's not that "Big." So, when you are at home, you make a rasher of bacon up for the family, and everyone gets 3, maybe 4 good slices for their BLT sammich, or as the meat on a breakfast plate, and that is your whole serving. But at TTR... Holy Cowabunga, they bring it out in those humongous tray-pans, full over the top with it! You could, if you were led to do so, make a blt that literally had bacon 3 inches thick! Bacon-bacon-bacon-bacon! Just a theory. And I'm with the Trampy guy, web-cams for those of you that can see them, will give plenty of stuff to talk about and watch with the hopes of seeing something (keep in mind, The Weather Channel is the most-watched network in the world, so I don't doubt people will jump on daily to see what, if anything, has changed from the previous day. And, last topic some of those FB groups are secret, and being secret, have pic-postings that would violate Steve's policy here. Shoot, violate isn't the right level of word. How about brutally beat down, crush and disintegrate Steve's pic restrictions. So, there's an attraction there for some. And, FB is the more natural social app for lots of folks, ladies in particular. A discussion board is a bit more geeky. Could be that.
It is killing me to not be there this week. Damn family responsibilities. Looked up the price expecting it to be outrageous and sold out. Very surprised it isn't.
I think it is sold out, I knew of someone who got 'bumped' to Desire today for two days because of no available rooms at TTR. That said, we were at Paty O last night and it didn't feel like a 100% occupancy situation. I kind of suspect they are not offering the full complement of rooms, but are full on the rooms they do have.
Would love to do that but pretty sure it wouldn't be possible. I'll try and go by regularly though and let everyone now what the latest is. It's not like I'll have much else to do
Those kind of pics are also against FB policy and that kind of group doesn't tend to last long before it gets closed down. Agreed that different people prefer different platforms. I would wager that out of every 100 people that use social platforms to talk TTR, 33 use cancuncare only, 33 use FB only and 33 use both. So FB does add an extra dimension and since we started our FB group it has certainly helped boost Boobs Cruise numbers, and I also post lots of links to CCC on FB but never the other way round I like to think that since it takes a little more know how to use Cancuncare rather than FB that the conversations here are a little more elevated.
As a Brit I really dont like the bacon at TTR or Mexico in general: This is not Bacon: This is Bacon!
These both look yummy and would not be around long if placed on a plate in front of me. T Sent Using Tapatalk
