Hopefully we will get updates on the construction process once TTR closes. That will help keep some interest here.
As a member of this forum, and of a sub-group on facebook (the May phuckers), I would actually say that most people talk more on here than we do on the facebook group. And by more I mean A LOT more. There really isn't much chatter on that facebook group, and I prefer to do my talking on here anyway. I just think that all the quiet time is do to the closure. I know the resort is packed now, but it's probably a ton of vets. So it isn't like there are randoms on here asking the questions about what to expect and what to bring. It's going to be a boring 6 months, but I am sure chatter will start picking up again when it gets like 3 months away from people booking new trips. And to all you vets going there this week, I envy and will miss you all. I was almost going to do a surprise solo short trip, but the flights were too much for a short trip. Plus I probably would have returned and Elyse would have smothered me with a pillow in my sleep.

I know I know, I just couldn't justify the $600 plane ticket for just a few days. Rather just roll that into a bigger and better trip with the family in 2017, and then when the re-open happens. Oh and I already do sleep with an Eagles helmet on
Here was a picture my friend sent me at 7am last weekend. By 11 we were chugging Jack Daniels Fire Whiskey strait from the bottle. It was a great opening game!
