We just got back today. We had a great time. So much fun. We even became members. But there were a TON of single guys. Most were fine, but there were a few that were trouble makers and made it a bit uncomfortable for a lot of people at a lot of times. Not sure if I liked all the singles. Last time we were there it was mostly couples. Are there certain times of the year that are more singles compared to couples? A few single guys were class acts... But others... Not so much.
Glad you had fun. With the unknown of the resort, what sold you on the memberships? We are going in a few weeks and are attending a membership meeting as we are on a referral.
We just got back last week and agree. This was our third trip and were surprised about the large number of single guys. We met some and they were great but equally we didn't really understand what they get out of it given it still is primarily a couples resort. We also became members and the draw was getting preferred rates now at what will be a much more upscale resort when it reopens. Also the travel partners connected with the membership made it attractive to us as we do a fair bit of travel elsewhere.
We were at Paty O's on a night pass last Friday. I don't think I've ever seen so many single guys. The vibe didn't seem right, we normally stay until 4am or so but just wasn't feeling it and left not long after midnight.
single guys We have noticed on our last 3 trips that on each successive trip there has been an increased number of single guys. The other thing is that they are "packs" of single guys with a large number being middle eastern or local. Definitely changes the vibe and have seen a lot more aggressive behavior.

Last year there were a few bad actors - we gave them a few warnings for touchytouchy, then thankfully a friend of ours who was a Premier Regular talked to security and had them removed before we lost our shit on them. The one guy had tight jeans on without a shirt - who does that in 90deg weather??? lol But after they were gone the vibe immediately improved.
This is true - we became members partially because the new resort will cater more to couples. For example a restaurant for couples only. That and physically the resort will be more upscale.
I was thinking the same thing about this after the renos, I have nothing against the singles guys but could do with out the packs. I also think Temptation should re think their day and night passes for these peeps. T
