Women should bring ho-heels to wear with not much else at Patty O's. I bring a very small suitcase for clothes and a medium suitcase for just shoes!
My recipe is: 4 day trip should = 9 pair of shoes 3 pair of flip flops for pool time and drunken burger trips 1 pair of chucks for when my feet hurt 3 pair of sexy heels to wear to dinner and make everyone notice my shoes ( I love buying them so I gotta wear them somewhere right) 2 pair of night dancing heels. These I'm not as worried about having a drink spilled on them etc. For the boy: 1-2 pair of sandals for pool and night 1 pair sneakers to wear at night so girls in heels don't step on his toes 1 pair nice closed toe shoes for dinner
When I say My husband is wearing nice shoes I mean like a slip on sneaker. Or what one might call a boat shoe. We bought a gray pair from express that he has fallen in love with and goes with everything for summer. He does not wear dress shoes while we are there.

Relax, you've already got it covered. Tennis shoes, sandals, and flip flops. Ta-da! You're done. 1. Tennis shoes in case you need to go to one of the nice restaurants. 2. Sandals for Patty O's. 3. Flip flops everywhere else. Any one of those will also cover your airport trip.
Luckily, most of us are already showing up with someone and won't need to "impress" anyone with our shoes...
