Elyse brings sexy shoes to wear at night, most of these are in the form of tall strappy wedges. She might bring a pair of actual heels for lingerie night, but you have to be most careful in these (I think that's why she goes with more wedges, as they provide more of a stable base). Other then night shoes, she brings multiple pairs of flipflops and some sandals that are more dressed up then flip lops, but less then sexy night shoes. And she brings sneakers for the gym. I highly suggest bringing multiple pairs of flipflops. I lose, give away, or have at least one pair of floppers "walk off" each trip.
On our last trip I brought 12 pairs of shoes just for me and several for my hubb (prob 5-6) this next trip in sept. I am bringing one pair of versatile heels, one comfy pair of wedges, 1 pair of flats(for the pool). I find a pair of metallic shoes, whether it is heels or flats, go with everything. So that is how I will go from paying $170 for bags round trip to $0. My hubby will get one pair of nicer (not dress) shoes and two pair of nice flip flops. This is exactly what we wore when we where there in July so what we are taking for September.

I bring what my friend refers to as "jesus sandals" to wear for dinners and to Patyo's and a couple pair of flip flops for the pool. Amanda will bring several pairs of shoes but mostly will be in comfortable flats or wedges during the evenings. Non-slip and comfort are the keys !!
You will see a lot of the guys wearing linen pants and nice shoes. The Italian and Asian dress code states that men have to have closed toed shoes and pants, no shorts. However, sometimes they don't care. I would hate to get down there and not be able to eat at either of these restaurants as the Italian is my favorite followed closely by the Asian. Melissa
Thanks for asking this. I am not a "shoe" guy. I have 5 pair of western boots, tactical boots, tennis shoes, 1 pair of sandals, and some flip flops. Boots are fine, but you will find them to be very hot there. My husband has some docker type shoes he wears.
