Booked a boat tour with them in February when we were going to TTR the last week of September. Of course we lost our reservation and was rebooked to Golden Parnassus. We had to cancel due to distance to travel to the dock and at first everything was fine. They have a guarantee refund if done in a timely fashion. They told us we should have a refund in 30 days, well six weeks have past and now our emails are returned mark as spam by them and phone is useless. Buyer Beware CP
Just curious, what's the problem with the distance? It costs about $1 each way for the bus, and there's stops right outside the resort.
We were told by them inorder to get there in time we would need to get a taxi. We really don't know how far the two are, trying to catch a taxi early in the morning just didn't make sense when another boat tour would pick us up at the hotel. Its just having all of our emails now marked spam when they have been working when we were paying. CP
Just FYI, I don't think anyone at Temptation ever takes any cruise other than the Boobs Cruise, or if they do, not more than once. Boobs Cruise vs other cruises is like comparing steak to waffles. It's just not in the same category
Albatros are our boat supplier for the Boobs Cruise and we rarely have a problem with them. If you or anyone ever wants to book the regular tour, or charter a private catamaran (20 minimum) then feel free to go through me. That way if there are any problems it will be my name on the line and, as many would testify, I am prompt at refunds and solving any issues that may arise. I should add that at Golden Parnassus there is no dock so any cruise you take from there will involve onward road transfer to the departure point, Albatros could have provided that too if requested. But as others have said the Albatros dock is just a 20 minute 1 dollar bus ride away from the GP. I guess that you tried to cancel maybe 15 mins before check in if only a taxi would could you there in time. If so, then refunds aren't normally granted if requested that close to departure.
There is nothing wrong with steak or waffles is all depends what it's served up with as to what the outcome is, but agree the Boobs Cruise can't be beat. T
True, true. While we did take the Boob Cruise (which was AWESOME! still writing my virgin trip review) on July 24th, we also booked a Booze Cruise with Albatross the following Thursday. We also lost our ticket and it was a hassle to get it straightened out. We booked it the day before at the booth by the sexy pool and they took our name, room number, and told us what time to be there the next day. They also handed us a receipt. Which to be fair they told us to hold it. But my dumb ass got distracted/was already drunk/eyes and ears glazed over had "displaced" the ticket. So, we show up early the next morning, explained the situation, they saw on the list where we signed up but still said there's not a lot they could do. I got a 'little' loud and he told me to hold on. 45 minutes later, after he made a few phone calls, we eventually got on it. So, long story short, we should have kept a better eye on our ticket...I get that, but, if they already had our names and info written down, I don't understand what the problem should have been boarding on time. Having said all that, Albatross booze cruise was just okay. It seemed very canned. Nothing like we experienced in Jamiaca as far as booze cruises are concerned. But, there was NOTHING like the Boobs Cruise...anywhere. on edit: did not book Boob cruise through Albatross. Booked it through this website. Also big shout out to Steve and his lovely wife. He sat with us at lunch.
Thanks D&T Yeah, Albatros have a dozen boats and they charter them out as people request. The whole thing is really about what you do with that boat once you have it that makes the difference between a Boobs Cruise and a Booze cruise. You can do it on the cheap; poor staff, poor service, poor entertainment, poor DJ, poor sound, nickel and dime, sell it to everyone - kids and boring people etc. Rip em off one time and hope you never see them again. Or you offer the best quality you possibly can for a slightly higher price because you pay for the best Ents, crew, sound, DJ, boat quality, keep the clientele exclusive and hope that everyone loves it so much they come back time and time again and tell their friends about it. I will always take the second option. It works for you guys and it works for me.
In short... There's only 1 Boobs Cruise. I think there's going to be another one in just 10 minutes. Have another drink while you wait :cheerleaders: :cheerleaders: :cheerleaders:
