Our room this year was in the 5000 block and was in great shape......except water flow and pressure. The shower was huge and could use another shower head. Mrs says she'd like a bench in the shower for shaving legs etc.. No mold. AC was friged......lol......we needed blankets before morning! Best room we've ever had!
I did notice the new Patio,s will face the Ocean,, that is good when it hot at night and bad at other times when its rain/drizzling and a bit cooler ,, the old one was sheltered during less then omptimum weather ,, hopefully they will have an indoor venue area better then nice shoes for bad weather/windy night
We stayed in the 5000 area last year and no complaints, nice room ac worked good. The reason I was asking about what rooms were getting jack hammered at this time was I don't want to be woken up at the ass crack of dawn hearing their jack hammers before I get up on my own and fire up my jack hammer do some drilling with the Mrs. T
They had one of those rooms finished last month, right on the corner. We were able to gain access and check it out. Looked really nice with a much larger sliding door. Now the entire glass wall is made up of just two pieces of glass with one of them sliding open. Gives it a more modern look. The bathroom was really nice and the shower was very nice. We will be living in Playa during most of the Reno, so we will be posting pictures of the Reno's process.
We were there last week and the construction is going hard on the building in the 1000 block. They've built two suites at the top (with the pink swoop). Some of the people we met were under the construction. I can't see them building these and then tearing them down. Instead I think they'll keep the footprint
I thought they were leaving the quiet pool rooms, and that pool, and tearing down the rest? Thought Steve had said that too. That's how it looks from the video that came out, I thought.
THYE WERE NEVER TEARING DOWN 1000. just adding another story the center core is is gone . check out the promo video its all there
