Service worries before renovation/closing...

    I totally agree book the trip it's going to be a great party the last few weeks the old Temptation we all have come to love is open.

    Well we were there July 4-11th this was our 10th trip. In our opinion, they were under staffed. Not sure if they were more people then typical or if some of the staff have already left. Drinks were slow at the Diego's pool bar and PatyO's. At PatyO's they did have the buffet bar open and servers taking orders but it was still very slow.

    One afternoon I actually had to order 3 times to get 3 drinks from 3 bartenders, never have we had that service at the pool bar.

    It was a rocky start with the check in but we didn't want to let that ruin the trip.

    We hope that they don't loose what they had with the new renos. We always enjoy our trips to TTR it's always the atmosphere and people that make the atmosphere. Service has always been superior and never questioned. But this trip did stand out on the staff and service side.

    All in prospective, it wasn't the greatest service for us this time.

    We were there June 28-July 6th and didn't experience any issues. Check in was smooth, we were able to get the room we requested.
    As for the bars and being served, never experienced anything unusual. It was a big crowd over the fourth weekend but didn't see any unusual or lacking service.
    I think sometimes we get to used to our fast paced life back at home and in Mexico that attitude just doesn't exist.
    We're headed back in August and don't expect any difference but we will report back after we get back.

    We had OUTSTANDING service last week. I can't find the level of service that we have always experienced at TTR anywhere in the US! FACT!

    For anyone who didn't come the final week for fear that the place would be dismal, you missed out! We're here now and the service is outstanding.
