Other option other then Temptation during renovation?

Hey guys, wanted to see if others had some input on some other resorts to hit other then Temptation during the renovation? We were gonna go during new years, and being they are starting in Sept, I don't know how far into it they will be.. Don't wanna have to hear hammers all day..

They will be closed during renovation, so you won't be hearing any hammers. Golden Parnassus, Grand Oasis Sens, or Desire are the most common alternatives.

There's also another resort that just opened called Breathless, but I hear they are quite spendy.

Breathless is VERY expensive and since they just opened in May and not completely even then, I wouldn't spend the money time or effort. Too new of a resort. They haven't had time to establish their identity yet. The one that is in punta cana is very nice but very boring.
A good place to go if you and your significant other want a quite place to contemplate the goings on of the universe but since your on this forum, I would imagine that's not what your looking for.
I would say Oasis Sens or GP would be the best option.
Desire tends to be booked several months out at any given moment.

We have been considering Golden Parnassus, Oasis Sens, Desire RM, Desire Pearl and Hedonism II (in Jamaica)

Recent reviews on TripAdvisor mentioned dozens of kids at the GP. There were like a dozen reviewers who mentioned this, so that was a bit discouraging.

Desire is expensive for us. We'll be trying Desire RM next month for 3 days. If we like it, and it's worth the $$$, we may try it for a week next time.

Hedo seems like lots of fun. It's clothing optional, but some parts are mandatory naked. (Nude side vs prude side)

We are thinking about Hedo. It seems to have a cult-like following like CCC members have for TTR. My impression is that Hedo appears to be a party place compared to the other CO resort options. On the other hand we might just stay home for the year....we were big Key West fans before we found TTR so maybe a trip there isn't out of the question.

Desire RM is awesome and true 5* - worth the $ imho.

 

The group of people we met at TTR last week was the best bunch of people I have ever partied with. We are considering renting a beach house or lake house with our own private sexy pool. This will be our vacation spot while the renovations are underway.
