Hi all, We are coming for our 2nd visit to Temptations tomorrow (July 22nd). I just got an e-mail from AlphaRooms saying that there is a problem with our reservations. The hotel provider that they used to book a room went out of business. I don't know if we have a reservation or not. AlphaRooms is trying to pay the hotel directly and have them honor the same rate as they had with lowcostbeds. Anyone else having the same issue?
This is the price one pays when dealing with discount re-sellers. You don't mention which country you are travelling from , that would mean a lot in you legal entitlements . They may offer you a different comparable * rated resort at the same price .( sucks , but that is in the average contract ) Kind of short notice ,, they most have know about this 30 days out when the room had to be paid . Good luck
We have a similar issue with bookit.com. Although we have a room booked. We chose our seat assignments for our flights but when we go to American Airlines our seats say unassigned. So I guess we didn't have assigned seating thru bookit after all
We are coming from US. Alpha rooms said they have paid hotel directly and we should be ok, but no confirmation from hotel. I guess we are showing up tomorrow and hoping for the best:bash::bash:
Alpharooms is a good company. They'll get it straight for you. Also, the resort is great to work with, if they're not sold out you'll get a room.
Just had the same email here regarding alpharooms / Low cost beds. Due to travel on the 29th. Stressing is an understatement !!!
we was booked with low cost holidays that went bust we have rebooked with another company and just hope we get our money back but at least we can still party
We booked our June/July trip with a low cost provider Steve had listed on the travel section of this site. We were able to get 7 days in a garden view for $1088.00 Not including airfare. That was only $50 above the premier membership discount. I think it was through OTEL. If you shop around you can get amazing deals . We've used alpha rooms in the past and never had any issues but in this economy you can better believe that the weaker companies won't be able to compete so do some vetting of who ever your looking to book with. I hope things workout for everyone. If not, I'll have a drink or two for you in the sexy pool.
We got this trip for $159 per night for the room using Expedia, total trip for 8 days with airfare was $2232. Last year we did 10 days for pretty much the same amount. So yes there are deals out there. T
