Here's a question for you repeaters, which may prove illuminative for the newbies and people considering a trip to Temptation (TTR).... So, you went your first time, and the trip was so Absolutelyfandedamntastically Awesome that you've been back 3, 9, 15 (in our case) or 27 times! But.... why? We need some specific anecdotes, y'all. All of us repeaters know the reason is that we Know we are going to have a good, sexy fun time. We Know that we're certain to meet some new best friends forever, from all walks of life, with all sorts of views... but ALL really cool people to be around. So, those answers have now been given and the readers need specifics. Ha! So, nothing generic, drop a quick line, or a long story in that happened to you and yours during your very first trip to TTR (or BBG for the longtime crew). I promise you, if you jump on board and spill the beans, it'll be a good read. Might never end. AND it'll be a good way to keep the community going, alive with fond memories, during the reno, right!?!
I'll start. With the exception of our honeymoon (coincidentally also in Cancun) Stacia didn't ever take her top off... OR wear a thong bottom, until BBG in 2007. Our first day down from Houston, we get tot he Sexy Pool, and Golly Gee Whillickers, Batman... there's no chairs available because they are all saved with towels, shirts or people are actually sitting in them (That's sort of unique, actually LOL!). So, we move over to the tannigng shelf, and plop our stuff down. Stacia starts, as Stacia does, talking to the couple next to us, who happen to be from England, in the Midlands. NOTE: We still know these people and talk to them all the time. We've been to their home twice in four years, and they've been to ours three times. We would have met in Mexico again but for that Icelandic volcano erupting a few years back... Anyway, we talk, the guy and I hit it off, talking about Premier League football (soccer for most of us American types, basically English NFL but different). Anyway, long story short, the lady is the one who convinced Stacia to take her top off. Simplest thing ever, actually. "If you take it off, they'll stop staring at you... they're wondering what's wrong." 5 minutes of indecision later, and now my lady doesn't even buy a bikini top for 90% of our vacations!
1) the toplessness.....while many hotels are topless optional few are as openly sexualized about it as TTR. At most topless optional resorts the men have to pretend they aren't looking and women have to pretend they don't want to be looked at. We love that at TTR the vibe is "hey, look at my titties" 2) the lack of pretentiousness. this goes without saying but hopefully they don't lose this after the remodel. 3) the sexy pool. nowhere else that we've found has the same vibe 4) there are plenty of swingers around to party with 5) the employees are awesome 6) love being able to wear the skimpy outfits at night that you just cant wear at home very often. 7) the price is reasonable.
I HAD to go back the second time and search for my dignity. This third time, I'm gonna have to search twice as hard. It goes missing worse there than socks in the dryer. I'm pretty sure there is a pretty big box of it floating around the lost and found office.
Hmmm, the party the people the friends. Everywhere you look people are smiling and having fun. There is laughter and games all over the place. The staff are amazing they remember everything kind of give's you the Cheers feeling where everyone knows your name. It's our happy place does not matter how bad the rat race at home gets we always just think how many more days till TTR. personally we found it impacted our lives in an amazing way and that is why we continue to come back again and again and again. Don't really care about the price or any of this other stuff. It makes us happy and we are going to do it.
To me it's just the amount of REALness the place has all around. (I know this is not specific enough, and kind of the easy answer John was trying to avoid) But I had to say it. It's mostly due to the people who are the REAL. They party for REAL, talk like they are REAL, are perverted for REAL, stay up REAL late, and REALLY drink a shit-ton. I just don't like fake pretentious people, and at Temptation you get the exact opposite of that. It's great being surrounded by people living a similar lifestyle, have a similar mindset, who actually want to talk to and learn from others, and enjoy letting loose (maybe extra-loose in some cases )
