Probably because it was a very small sample of the group, and after the TTR closing announcement many couples either moved up or altered their vacation plans for one last trip to the old TTR before management totally screws up big time by reaching for five star accommodations on the armpit of the beach, and as far as possible from the other touristy areas of the Cancun hotel strip. Here's hoping they don't kill the vibe, but it sure feels like the goose that lays the golden egg has it's neck on the chopping block, and there is absolutely no assurance from management that they intend to keep the party going by retaining the TTR regulars. In fact it almost feels as if they are saying adios!

We read quite a few reviews on various sights about Breathless Cancun and around 90% were positive. We found a referral wk. available for about $140 a nt. cheaper than their listed price for a wk. in December. We decided to give it a try. Early in the year we had already booked TTR for that same time. Our flights were already locked in so we opted to use the TTR days in 2017.( at the same price as in 2016) I promise I will write a review when I get back. Oh, and about the last promise I made... You didn't really have to swallow. Larry
The reviews on Tripadvisor are very good for the resort but it is clear that there areny very many topless ladies. If you search topless in the questions there is a thread that clearly suggests it is nothing like DRM. I'm looking forward to some reviews from the TTR crew to see their impressions of the place.
Pretentious pozers don't get topless in sexy environments. They go to places that market themselves as allowing toplessness, for cred, but purposely keep their tops on........because what's more pretentious than that? Even though Breathless markets the place as topless optional I would be very surprised if many women at all at Breathless get topless because of the marketing vibe they are sending out attempting to appeal to pozers and hipsters.....no thanks
So, has anyone been? I'm very curious about this resort. Have to find a new place for this February's shitshow week; we'll be at Desire RM for 5 nights but looking for another party resort for 3-4 nights.
