Well, I can't wait 'till your return trip... just so I can read the review!
Feel free to totally fabricate a pretend trip and write another similar 'review', just for kicks!:typing:

I'm totally trying to make a trip before the makeover close-down and hoping there will be lots of peeps around to have a good send-off, but it sounds like the owners may be jumping the gun a bit and starting before the official close-down. Hmmmm.... Ive been working construction for over 10 years, maybe I should pack a day-glo so if things get bad above my room, I can wander up with a workers vest and kill the power to the tools. Im sure I could do it effectively... drilling or breaking concrete is no joke to put up with when a) on holiday, b) negotiating an over-indulgence issue, and c) compressing sleep into the shortest possible time to recharge the batteries, brain-cells and balls!


Just out of interest and for the sake of gender-equality, what do the ladies like to see on guys, i.e, what is that male equivalent of boobs?! Legs? Chests? V-line? Other?
Ladies, speak up, or forever hold your peace!

Sorry for the belated reply to these questions. I hope we're not too late to help.

The answer is that the whole resort will be closing down soon for major renovations. In the meantime, they're apparently doing a little bit at a time, and there's little chance that we outsiders will be able to predict which rooms they're going to go all Circe Lannister on.

So our advice is, upon check-in, to ask if there is construction going on in any of the rooms near you. If there is, MOVE. You heard me. GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM THE JACKHAMMERS. Because seriously. JACKHAMMERS.

A "Jackhammer" may be an excellent mixed drink or sexual position, but an ACTUAL jackhammer is the world's worst thing to wake up to.

Awesome review. Headed there for the first time in Sept so this helps!

 

Laughed so hard... I started to cry... I LOVED it!! And that's why I love Temptations!!! I can only hope our trip in Sept is this great! We did the same thing for our flight! I felt pretty darn smart! TTR better be the same or better when it re-opens!

 

I especially liked the part about boobs

 

We're sooooo envious! We would love to be there with the "Wrecking Balls" crew for the final week! Alas, it's now looking like February 2018 for us. (Damn, that seems so far away.)

 

My wife is more than a little uneasy about going to Temptation, I need her to read this, and other trip reviews.

 

It will go by quickly, like Mr Miyagi says patience grass hopper.
