does anyone else hold a contest with themselves to see just how light they can get their clothes to weigh when packing ? i think all of my outfits and the dresses i packed to use as a cover up .. weigh nothing i did a happy dance and gave myself 1st place i put all of my shoes ..bathroom stuff .suntan lotion .some odds and ends and i just got up to 25 pounds think the bag is 8 or so i think the shoes is the bulk of the weight .. until i pack up the man .. his shorts and shirts weigh a ton lol i will tell him its his stuff lol gotta remember to throw my hat in .. it says got stiffy .... 5 days ..
My contest is to shave time on how fast I can pack! I have done it in 12 mins many times. After 23 trips to TTR it is a well rehearsed drill.
The first time I noticed this phenomenon was about the 6th or 7th trip Stacia & I took to TTR.... I wanted to take my so-called 20-oz Temptation screw-top mug to be my Bubba Keg, and she first had all her thong and string-back bikini bottoms just lying in the case... so I put all of them (there were 9) into the Bubba-Keg. It was only half full of fabric! Nice...
other than shoes I try not to take any clothes that won't fit in my husband's pockets....if it won't fit in his pockets I figure it's probably too prudish.
. That is a great rule to live by, just make sure your husband only has his swimsuit shorts' pockets to use. NO CARGO SHORTS!
