Hi all, We've just booked again with USA Transfers. Last time out we paid the driver direct, but now they seem to want us to pay online via paypal before-hand. Has anyone here done that before?
Used them 3 times, always paid cash to to the driver. This must be something new. Edit: After posting this I went to book our round trip USA Transfer for July 10-15. I completed the reservation and the confirmation said to "pay the driver when you arrive. There was also an option for email to pay the balance in advance. Under "how did you hear about us" I clicked the box that said I was a repeat customer. I don't know if that made a difference or not.
You might want to use the link from this web site. There is another company that started up with a name very similar, something like USA Transport or something like that.
Maybe it's the fact that your coming from England (although Trish is too). I thought I remembered reading somewhere that under certain circumstances you have to pay before hand. I don't remember if it's where you came from or where your going.
It gives you the option, we pay in advance but have paid the driver direct in the past. I like having it taken care of and just tip the driver.
Dont pay online the new company that has been hijacking customers and is not USA Transfer is requiring payment online . Only deal w USA Transfers!! This is out 20th trip and have used them all exceptbthe first trip and they are very good. In fact we let them know how many times we have used them when we make reservations and they throw in a reduce rate trip every so often. Update!!!! The drivers now have soda and beer in the vans!!!! Only $1.50 a piece!!!! Dont sent a small fortune at the bar at the airport for the first drink in Cancun, get it from the driver!!! Only keeps getting better!!
