Did you get the random text saying you get a free gig in Mexico? Att knew I was going before I did.

 

Hmm...nope didn't get that.

 

Odd. Figured it was because my phone pings from Mexico every so often.

 

I called to see what I need to do to make international calls and texts and was told our account was already provisioned for international roaming at no extra cost. We even take our data with us.

 

Awesome. I don't need the data with the free wifi but it'll be nice to let the folks back home know I'm still alive. They usually just take bets.

No problem! It's worth a phone to check. Just call "611" from your AT&T phone to check and make sure that your plan is provisioned for international travel to Mexico.

 

Oh my gosh, how did I not find this thread until today!? My husband and I are newbies arriving next Wednesday!! Guess I'm going to be power shopping and paying for some express shipping!! Ready to have great time!

 

Almost to a point where I no longer have to drop my pants to count the days. Sooo ready!!!
