Yea when you look at the percentage, then it is a large increase. Guess I was just thinking that 148 was just so low to begin with.
the room rates are fixed , not the AI fee .,, the room rate is made up of the 2 plus taxes some contracts separate the two in detail , others do not .
Our contract states (as does everyone else that I have discussed it with) that the room rate is fixed for the life of the contract and can't be increased. The AI fees are subject to increase but the increase is tied to the Mexican CPI and increases are capped at 4% annually. So, if this is the new pricing for the existing rooms, renovated or not, they are in direct violation of the contracts.
Room taxes & fees included. *Additional charges apply on reservations to travel from December 22 to January 01, 2018 (Christmas & New years Week)
Good luck with that! They've already claimed it's going to be a new resort. .............all bets (contracts) are.....................likely....sadly.....
You need to read your contract better - there is an out clause that they can raise it higher. We signed at $102/night (off-season) in 2013 - every year it's been WAY more than 4%. You can bitch & moan at Premier - they do not care. They have your money and prefer if you never came back. Been there done that with these folks, they complained the dollar was too strong, they complained the price of energy was too high and justified there 25% increases in years past. Us paying in US Dollars only enriches them more as they transact with all there vendors in Pesos. Those who are not members will be seeing pricing in the $300- $400/range I'm sure. Hopefully we Members get some decent perks.
I took pictures of the email we received, it's in my "various" picture album. Don't know how to put in a post, so feel free to do that lol
I believe "TW" mean Temptation Week, and your membership # would include TW in it (5-digits + TW at the end). I'm certain these rates include the All-Inclusive. The email was not detailed, and the increase is higher than I expected for members. Curious about rates for the various room types, also rates for the new tower vs the 2 existing buildings they are refurbing.
