Welcome! We'll get there 7/3, so we'll get to meet you there.

1. The wrist bands are an orange rubber wrist band that some people use to identify themselves as members of this site. They're completely optional. Temptation is a pretty small resort, and most people hang out in the "sexy pool" most of the day or PatyO's at night, so it's really not hard to find each other at all.

The themes in red are the ones listed on Temptations' own website. The additions in blue are what members of this site added on to them. For example, July 4 is all over the place: The resort theme is "Brazilian Batacuda," the Cancuncare theme is "superheroes and villains," and it's also Independence Day!

We've been there five times and never seen many people in a Brazilian theme, so I doubt you'll see anyone in that one. A lot of the users of this site have been planning Superhero costumes, but since the users of this site are generally the minority of the guests, I'd estimate you'll see 25 percent or so of the guests in superhero wear that night. I don't know if Independence Day is really a theme, but I know there are a few of us who will probably be wearing red, white, and blue.

Other nights aren't as complicated. On the night where the resort theme is "white," and CCC added "glow," most of the guests will be in something white, and CCC users often bring glow sticks to pass out to add to the outfits.

Themes are totally optional--if you're not feeling any of the themes, just wear whatever the heck you want! But dressing for the themes is a fun way to find more friends from this site and kind of gives you an instant bond.

 

What works for us is to meet our group at the quiet pool bar so we can all come in together. I'm with you--I hate that awkward moment when you're standing in PatyO's in your underwear when everyone else looks like they're at a charity luncheon!

 

Another reason I ask for a room by Paty O, the walk of shame is shorter!

 

July 30th theme: I think Rio & I are going to modify this a little to Saints and Sinners. Same concept of red/black, but with a twist. Who else is modifying some of the theme nights to fit your alter TTR ego?

We are modifying denim and leather night to make it more rock star.

 

Job ended a little early in the oilfields so i just got in for of couple of days home and some of my packages came in. Those size charts are deceptive. I... Might have to do a sit up. Sorry folks if a ball pops out.

 

That's just nuts man, perhaps a little velcro to keep things in place?

LMAO! How's THAT for a mental pic? Good luck getting the duct tape into the country. We brought some a couple years ago and the Mexico customs guys took it from us...said it wasn't allowed. :icon_cry:
