I spoke with Chinos a couple of weeks ago and he seemed to think he was going to be able to make it this year. He better!!! We missed last year and I have been all over him about not missing this year jk he was busy last year with his kids at Disney and was not able to make it but it sounds like he will be there this year and I went ahead and reserved his room for him

as far as any rooms left - we had a block at the hotel monteleone and at last check there were like only 2 left at the 185.00 per night rate - so if you want one of those I would call quickly - just let them know you are with the make a wish group and you will get the rate..........even if they no longer have any left (we been selling like crazy this year - usually we are still trying to get people to get a room in August lol)

its BIG fun and even if you can't get a room there its not a problem at all - there are between 50 and 100 people participating in all the festivities who are not even staying at the hotel monteleone but at other hotels in the quarter so do not let the lack of rooms at the hotel monteleone keep you from participating this year -

still going to be fun regardless of where you stay

Even though all of the rooms in our block for just $185 per night are long gone........that does not mean that you can not still be a part of one of the best weekends of the year. With hundreds expected, and some very special guests in attendance YOU can still be a part.

Just find a room in the quarter and join all the fun all weekend long. Its a great excuse to come to New Orleans and meet some great people having a great time and doing some pretty amazing things

Awesome job at getting the Sunday Jazz Brunch moved up to the Riverview Room. Too bad the room is not large enough for the Friday evening Meet n Mingle.

We should have the Friday evening details finished up sometime soon, and will get them out to everyone.

 

yeah going to be a great and special jazz brunch for all this year - a real treat and once in a lifetime experience for sure - so grateful the hotel has given us this room free of charge - its part of their gift to us for our support of the local chapter of the make a wish foundation in New orleans - oh yeah - the dick simonz three piece jazz trio will also be performing

 

This is awesome! Unfortunately being down in Dallas for business, and with a impending trip to the rocky mountains in September for some fishing and baseball, I would certainly like to able to attend this next year. It's really great that all members of the board are invited to this, lots of good vibes for a good cause! The part about everyone having a good time and walking away feeling good is what it's all about, very unselfish on your part, good job and have fun!

After longing to go to this event for the past few years, we finally were able to make it work. Can't wait to visit my favorite city with my favorite kind of peoples. Just two months away!
