We have done this before 4 ppl to a cart and just bar hopping. It was a blast. We made it around the whole island We also took the bus there, It is 6 pesos(.32) super cheap

We had a wonderful day over there last year but it almost turned tragic. The golf cart we got had two speeds, off and full blast. No matter how hard I tried it was simply one or the other. Well that's not that big of a deal for the most part, thing is if you decide you want to do a U-turn in a cart with this condition do it as a 3 point U-turn turning while going forward. I decided to do a reverse U-turn and we definitely one upped anything that Jim Rockford ever did in his firebird (for those of you with enough birthdays under your belt). About a third of the way into the turn the cart went to full speed, lifted the inside tires in the air and continued it's turn. My wife is screaming and grabbing at me to keep from falling out and I'm already picturing Mexican hospitals and Mexican jails in my mind - trying to decide which is worse. Well fortunately it settled back down on all four wheels with only my pride injured. To add insult to injury we had completed a full 360 instead of a 180 and were facing the same damn way that we had started in a few moments earlier... when my underwear were clean!
