Down in Tulum about 1.5 hour drive (maybe 2 hour) its fun but there always seems to be bribing of cops that happens. If you have never been it is the absolute most beautiful beaches, tons of little hotels with restaurants, and there is an area that is nude. It is spectacular but kinda a pain to get to unless you hire a shuttle. We have rented a car for the day and had fun but that is where the police came into play.
Sounds like a good place for a seperate 2-3 day getaway. Wouldn't wanna mingle Mexican police though.
The police where very nice and more then willing to take the $110 we offered. LOL It makes for a great story. And yes I think next year we may try and do a couple days there while TTR is getting her makeover.
How could I get forget option 4??!! 4- Reserve the TTR yacht. Some members have it included in their package.
