Me and the wifey will be there 7/12-7/17. Ive read that the part of the beach TTR is on doesnt have the most beautiful water. Since there are no Boobs Cruise available whats a good way to go take a dip in some of that pretty clear water thats supposed to be around there? Excursions or anything? Thanx
The sexy pool is pretty clear! That's our favorite spot, and after spending an afternoon there it is way more clear than my eyes or head.
The Beach is Fine at TTR, it doesn't have the big crashing waves as it does down the coast a bit but it's fine to go in swimming in....Depends on what you like....a short $1 bus ride down into town there's a nice public beach you can go to D
I'd recommend a day trip to Isla Mujeres. It's a 20 minute ferry ride over and in addition to the stuff you can do in town, there's a pretty nice beach.
Definitely Isla Mujeres. Take a ferry, then rent a golf cart and head to Playa Norte. Make sure to explore the shops and restaurants in the downtown, too.
First off if we get enough interest in a Boobs Cruise during your dates Steve might add on. We are there during your time also and are bummed so go to the thread about the Boobs Cruise and ask for a date add. You guys would be couple number 5. With that being said I LOVE Isla Mujeres and we would be up for joining a group to the island.
You have plenty of options and they are ALL good. 1- Like Donna and Tim said jump on the bus and go to the public beach, I believe it is called Playa del Finas (I probably just killed the spelling of it) 2- Walk down the beach to a better spot 3- Go to Isla Mujeres, there are many different spots to stop at on this island, Playa Norte being the most popular Our favorite is option number 3 with golf cart. We bar hop, beach hop, convenience store hop and restaurant hop. What a great time!!! Enjoy!
Boobs Cruise or not, we plan to go to Isle Mujeres one day while we're there. Great beaches. Cheap ferry ride, good food, fun shopping.
