Last minute trip...post divorce trip (I'm a guy)

Hi everyone, recently divorced male who needs to get away for a few days in June. Traveling alone. Woke up today, thinking of going to Cancun and feverishly doing research on a few adult only places. It looks like TTR is more of a couples resort than singles? Would love a few recommendations on resort choices (if not TTR) for someone in my age range (45).

 

Singles are just fine at TTR. It's large groups of single men that aren't so welcomed. Go alone, be yourself, be social, and you'll have fun.

Hey my brother. TTR is an awesome place. I've been twice single, once 50 and once 51. This year will be my first with a companion.

This is the skinny from me. Most of the people at TTR are couples. When I've been there single, there were several single women as well, but not many. If you can walk into a bar with 50 single women at home and leave alone, your chances of hooking up (if that's your goal) at TTR are not very good. If you are coming to party and have a good time, you can't miss. If you're a guy with some good "game", there is no telling what kinds of things you can get into. DO go on a Boobs Cruise. DO participate. DO make as many friends as possible. DO enjoy your time at the greatest party place in Mexico. DON'T be annoying. DON'T take liberties. DON'T be the single guy who causes disdain by the masses for the single guys who come after. I wouldn't scare anyone from coming. My only advice is to understand before coming that the odds aren't really in your favor, but a trip to never forget is also at your feet. Have fun!!!

 

Thanks so much for the detailed response! Post divorce, my only expectations are to drink, laugh and get a good tan. My motto is "be humble and fun".....so we'll see!

We literally just got back from TTR on Wednesday the 25th and there were more singles this trip at least I found then in any other times I'd been. There were at least 12 guys from Canada on a bachelor trip that were super respectful and a pleasure to have around they were there for the same reasons you want to go. There was also a bachelorette party down there and think the whole party was looking for some action, they were attracting the attention of some of the other single guys there and I was thinking to myself buddy I don't know who you are but you got your hands full with that one. The only advice I can give you is this be respectful, there were lot's of single guys as and girls as I said on our trip the ones that were included most ( meaning partied with lots of the couples ) were the ones that were friendly, respectful and didn't act like your typical pussy hound looking to get laid every other minute. If you can do that you got it made.

Runnerdude, you have the right mentality for going, so go enjoy yourself! There is also on thread on here for couples interested in single guys. A bit of action on the side could always make the trip that much better!
