So I have booked us in to stay june 24-july 5 :aktion033:

It's our first time to cancun so also our first time at TTR, and I'm excited but also a little nervous about it all...we aren't right into the scene and just want a fun loose holiday with no expectations..so im hoping the mix of people there will be cruisey and fun and i won't feel pressured or left out if we aren't keen to always get amongst the activities...

I've been reading lots on here which is super helpful...but some threads have left me with more questions and a little anxiety lol

We are coming from Australia via Las Vegas so i have limited luggage room as i need to pack for 3 weeks away in 3 different places. So ill have swimmers, hat, suncream etc and a bubba mug (had to google that haha, we don't call them that), and usual holiday clothes. Ill bring something for the theme nights so im prepared if we want to join in but what about guys on the theme nights? what do they wear? I'll need to sort out what to bring for hubby!
Also do girls wear heels or better to just have nice flats-sometimes after a day of drinking heels can be dangerous for me
I get seasickness sometimes on fishing boats so I'm worried about getting sick on the Boobs Cruise-is the water choppy?should i take tablets?

What currency and denominations of money will we need? We will be at the resort but also want to go on a couple day trips too

Is there a shop on the way or something where i could buy sugarfree soft drink?
Are you allowed to bring your own alcohol in or do you need to stash it? We will be drinking at the bars etc but like to have drinks in the room too.

Do the rooms have a fridge?

If we need something while we are there is it easy to go to a shop? Extra money or food. Drinks.waters ?

    Finally what is LYSOL???

Thanks heaps, Sorry for so many questions!!!
i just need to get sorted so i can relax and get excited!:partyhorn:

Lysol (its a north america thing) is a disinfectant spray. Some people like to bring it for the AC vents. If you have athsma maybe ask around more on this. Mexico is more humid than what you will be used to. So people like to spray the Lysol in the AC vents.

For the theme nights try to bring something red, white, and sexy lingerie The dude should try to get into theme as much as possible too. (the ladies appreciate it) You can also look at the cancun care themes that will be posted in your months roll call. They usually have a twist or alternative to the resorts themes.

There will be groups that seem to be in cliques there but so long as you are friendly and like to have a goof time most of them will be accepting of you.

Boobs Cruise- its a must. There are threads/posts on here that will talk about sea sickness. I have always heard ginger (root not the redhead but i bet a red head will work too)or ginger beer before going out works best. You can always go the Navy way and just drink but the Boobs Cruise is a must.

Most people tip in USD, CND and Peso there. If you are stopping in Vegas before then maybe exchange a little extra for Temptation. Tip how you like to. Typical places to tip arethe grill at the buffet, the buffet for the waiters, dinners, bartenders, maids, bellhops, towel guy at least one time during your stay, the dude/lady doing a great job at what he/she is doing. Bring lots of ones.

Im sure you can get a sugar free drink at the airport or what ever transportation you take can help. The put one coke zero in the fridge each day during your stay. they also put 2 regular cokes, 2 beers and a water in your fridge each day. You can write a note to the maid requesting more diet or coke zero.

As far as getting something that you need. Yup they have a walmart

NJB425 did a good job answering your TTR (Temptation Resort) questions, but I want to add some Vegas stuff....
The Palms Resort has a few nice rooftop clubs. I believe the one we went to was called the Moon Club? Nice experience. Have a few drinks in advance though since they are around $12 USD each at the club.
The Cirque du Soleil shows are all incredible.
Don't miss an evening on Fremont Street. Not sure if all nights of the week are equal, but often there are usually bands performing on up to 3 different stages. If you want some decent American BBQ try Tony Romas while at Fremont Street too!

As far as TTR goes, press your personal limits on sexy clothing...... you won't be out of place! As I read on here one time "The sluttier the better!"
Bring a sexy red dress, a black dress and a white dress. Have lingerie ready (cute underwear for the hubby) and if you are like us on our first lingerie Night have a few ounces of liquid courage before walking into Paty'Os! LOL

Oh, and do the Sexy Coffee w/dessert one night at the Italian Restaurant!!!

You'll have a ball and will make lots of friends!

First of all, this sounds like an amazing trip! Lucky you!

I'm not sure what the third destination is, but the good news is that you can wear pretty much the same things in Vegas and Temptation. Both are going to be REALLY hot, so be prepared for that.

Another good thing is that the kind of sexy dresses you can wear to Temptation are really easy to pack. Temptation tends to be more blatantly risque, lots of skin, and Vegas tends to be more high-end classy-sexy. I'd get one really great black dress and one really great white dress you can wear for each, then throw in a cheap red one for TTR. I'd add a few casual sundresses that you can do day or night both places. Skimpy bathing suits are okay for both, too.

For theme nights, think about using lingerie for each if you're brave and want to save space, or use accessories instead of whole outfits.

I do wear heels at TTR, but it's not required. How about splitting it down the middle with some sexy strappy flats or a dressy wedge or block heel?

As for Lysol and bubba mugs, I wouldn't bother since you're going to have weight limits. You can pick up anything like that pretty close to the resort. DO bring sunscreen since you have better stuff in Australia than we can get here, and it's ridiculously expensive in Mexico.

I would bring medications you're used to: something for headaches, stomach troubles, and allergies, just in case.

Pick up American dollars in Vegas before you come to Mexico. Every place there will take it.

Rooms have refrigerators, the resort supplies sugar free pop, and they love it when you bring in your own booze because then you drink less of theirs for free.

Many of the guys do participate in the theme nights, but some do not. It all depends on how creative and daring you two are. I would say 25% of the men participate.
Also do girls wear heels or better to just have nice flats-sometimes after a day of drinking heels can be dangerous for me
I bring my stilettos for dinner, then usually wear them about an hour at Paty-Os. After drinking all day and then starting all over at Paty-Os, the floor does get slick. I change to wedges or sometimes flats (I've even ended up bare footed at times.......Nobody cares!!!!)
I get seasickness sometimes on fishing boats so I'm worried about getting sick on the Boobs Cruise-is the water choppy?should i take tablets?
The Mexico water is calm most of the time. If the weather is windy or a rain shower is expected, it can get a little rough. Most of the time it's okay. If being out on a boat when the water is calm makes you sick, then I would recommend bringing something that you are used to taking for your seasickness.

What currency and denominations of money will we need? We will be at the resort but also want to go on a couple day trips too
I agree with summerbum. Get your money exchanged for US dollars in Las Vegas. $10, $5, $1 will be the what you will use the most at the resort. you may want to bring a few larger bills if you intend on paying cash for your day trips.

Is there a shop on the way or something where i could buy sugarfree soft drink?
There is a store across the street from the resort that sells sugerfree. There is really no need, your room fridge will have diet coke. If you want more, leave them a note and a little extra tip and they will stock more fore you. The bars have diet soda too.
Are you allowed to bring your own alcohol in or do you need to stash it? We will be drinking at the bars etc but like to have drinks in the room too.
You can bring in your own. There is a liquor store in the Mexico airport next to the luggage carousel. Their prices are reasonable.

Do the rooms have a fridge?
    Yes

If we need something while we are there is it easy to go to a shop? Extra money or food. Drinks.waters ?
Walmart is a quick taxi ride away. The small store across the street has a decent selection of stuff too.

    Finally what is LYSOL???
Anti-bacterial aerosol spray. Some people like to spray the room down just because "Mexico germs might be different then what they have at home".

Thanks heaps, Sorry for so many questions!!!
i just need to get sorted so i can relax and get excited!:partyhorn:
Relax and have a great time! Be daring and sexy with your clothing because it is allowed and there is not many places you can go and be this free with clothing and sexiness!!

    XOXOXOXOX
