We met different people down there last August and many of us planned our trip this year so we would all be there the same time. So there is a group of us that already know each other but we are slowly chatting it up with other people on cancuncare that we haven't met yet but they will be down the same time. We were newbies last year and this will be our third trip. On our first trip, we didn't get there until late Friday evening and it seemed like everyone already had their groups. Most people meet at the pool during the day and then meet up again at night at Patyos. I walked up to people I recognized from their picture on this forum and started talking to them that night. From there it kind of snowballed. You will find that everyone is so welcoming and just want to have a great time. If you come over with a big tower of shots then you are guaranteed to make some friends! You won't be intruding. It just isn't a snobby place. You will both have a blast. Look for us on the 30th. My husband usually wears a bright red OSU hat. It helps me keep track of him in the sea of people (especially when the alcohol starts making me see double). -J-

June 25 to july 3 In our several visit to TTR I must say that the people are some of the friendliest and social people you will ever meet. Most everyone seems to be of the same mindset. A place to relax, let your hair down, have a few drinks (or more) have a lotta laughs and adult fun. We've been to a lot of places and this place is unique that way. If you bring a bunch of shots, there will be many groups more than willing to share them with you, including ourselves!
We will be making our first trip to TTR June 30-July 4. Not sure what to expect, but everyone here seems to be so friendly. I'm sure we will not have too much trouble acclimating to the party!!!
