We are first timers and it just so happens our reservations are for that whole last week in September. We were nervous when we heard about the closing because we don't want the experience to be ruined by lack of service, alcohol, food, etc. However, after reading through the forums it seems like we will get the full experience and then some, like Temptations on steroids. Not sure about the running out of food thing, but I wonder on the last day if anyone will get to keep those apples on the wall or suchlike as keepsakes? Not like they're going to need them any more! Or does anyone want a rusty lamp?
What Makes TTR special is the people and all the mad one will be there for the last week. We will drive the security crazy. Certainly not worrying about food & drinks, sure there will be plenty.
My husband's an AWESOME cook, so with us being there the final week I know we won't go hungry. Oh wait, he'll probably be drunk off his ass. Oh well, I guess it's the thought that counts. And for those newbies coming the final week, look out, because the debauchery will be epic!
