Just booked our trip 3 weeks ago for mid Dec.... had we known, we wouldn't have booked.... waiting to see what the "verdict" is....
Stacia & I already have 3 DRM trips planned, at minimum, before the "scheduled" TTR re-opening takes place. And that is IF it is on time. If it's on Donald's schedule, we'll probably be about 12 to 15 trips deep into other options. That being said, when TTR re-ups, we'll be in the first couple of months' groups back!
We just returned from Hedo (March 5-12). The description from DOUBLE G 9 is completely accurate! To add: New owners/ resort renovations have made a huge improvement and the food was actually fantastic! Premium alcohol WAS readily available at all bars, unfortunately there were no friendly bar staff We spent most of our time at the nude pool (the prude pool is now considered "clothing optional" but is always empty). The party is most definitely at the nude pool. In the full week we were at Hedo we only ONCE witnessed a PDA! and in general the crowd was extremely TAME! I have been told by many that some weeks are wild (eg: Swingers weeks in January). But mostly the atmosphere is dictated by the group that is there that week. So choose your week based on comfort level? Our only disappointment was the nightlife... It was basically non-existant! HORRIBLE! So we booked TTR for Halloween (Oct 30-Nov06).. and like many others we anxiously await our fate!
